We'll be helping the children make animal party masks, sparkly bracelets and watches, having fun with jelly, foam, ice, sand, water & gelli baff. Along with lots of painting, colouring and sticking. I just wanted to remind all Dulwich parents that my Messy Play Class starts again after the Easter Break on Thursday 24th April, 10am - 11am at The Rockbourne Youth Centre in Forest Hill. We'll be helping the children make some pretty twirling paper ladybirds, creating colourful paint blot butterflies & making animals from paper plates along with all the usual messy play which includes Gelli baff, foam, sand and water. Spring is finally here so this week at Messy Play we'll be helping the children make pretty sun catchers to take home & hang from their bedroom windows. We'll also be making pasta shape and wooden bead bracelets which is a fantastic activity to improve hand/eye co-ordination as well as working on those all important fine motor skills. The children will be making sand & glitter pictures and if the sun stays out we'll be in the garden getting messy with water, gelli baff, cloud dough and sand. Hi, Sorry, it's ?6.50 for the first child and then ?3.50 for any extra siblings. You can just drop in. We have lots of fun activities tomorrow including making butterflies using kitchen roll holders and lots of glitter, creating flower collages using different coloured lentils, hunting for gold on our cloud dough treasure island, getting messy with vermicelli, creating messy pictures using salt & food colouring along with having lots of sand, play dough, printing and colouring tables. Let me know if you'd like to book a space or you can just drop by. The venue is nice and large so I never have to turn mums away. I know from experience that it's sometimes nice just to decide on the day what you and your child/children fancy doing!

Hello, I run a messy play class for toddlers on a Thursday 10am - 11am in Forest Hill at the Rockbourne Youth Centre SE23 2DA. Each session offers a wide choice of free play and structured activities where you and your toddler can create art and make a mess without you having to clean up afterwards! Classes include craft activities, collage making, play dough, water play, sand, painting, printing & drawing with new gloops and goos to explore each week! Hello, I run a messy play and art class on a Thursday morning in Forest Hill that I'm sure your 4 year old would love. The class is a mix of craft activities, messy play & the more traditional play dough, water & sand play. The group is aimed at pre school children but my daughter who is 6 years old loves it too! I don't think there is a website but it's 10am - 11am on a Thursday. I emailed and the lady that runs it and she sent me some further information regarding the classes. It's drop in or you can book a course of 6 which is what I've done as makes it a bit cheaper. I paid ?35 for 6 sessions and was told that I could carry 2 over if I couldn't make it one week. Hope that helps, it really was lovely and the other mums/dads we're all lovely and friendly. I don't normally post much on here just read a lot but just felt this was a such a well run, good value for money class it was worth a few minutes of my time!

Hi, I just wanted to tell everyone about a new Messy Play session that I went to on Thursday. I've been looking for a arts & crafts/messy play class for my 2 year old for a while as I'm one of those mums who's not too keen on doing anything messy at home! I've tried a few in the last 6 months but they've been a bit to complex for her and I wanted something a bit more relaxed & fun. The session was in Forest Hill and was recommended by a friend that lives in the area. It was brilliant. Only a 10min drive from my house (ED). There was lots of the normal stuff like play dough, collage making, craft activities etc but it also had some great messy play ideas like a huge water tray full of gelli bath (bit like jelly) and a farm made out of cloud dough, which she just loved! It was ?6.50 for an hour which I thought was rather reasonable considering the choice of activities and that I pay ?8 a session for just singing! Anyway we loved it so much I thought I'd share it with you all. It's called Rosie & Mae's Messy Play and we booked via email [email protected]
