Hello! We are thinking about moving back to the area and would need a secondary place for our child in year 8. The issue we have is you can’t get on the waiting list until you have an address but we don’t have a clue what the waiting list numbers look like and wouldn’t want to move without having an idea of when she might get in. Does anyone know roughly what movement is like on the list for year 8? Thank you.

I am getting really annoyed with some of the nurseries that my daughter is on the waiting list for (some of which at the cost of ?40) who told me at the time the list was 1-2 years long and has now somehow become 3 years??!! This is not on!

Best salon in the area by far! Really lovely friendly people who know about hair.

Hi forumites, I have a 14 month old daughter and have decided to stay at home with her for a while longer. All my mum friends have gone back to work and I thought it would be fun to arrange a meet up for parents who are around during the day in the area. I have just visited the Treehouse in Brixton and cannot get over what a great idea it is: http://www.treehouseworkandplay.com/ The creche is better kitted out than most nurseries I've been to with a climbing wall, ball pit, trampoline etc. It is all new and lovely and the staff are so nice. I didn't think that I would find a solution to be able to do some work without being too far away from my daughter but this is just perfect. I'm writing this so more people can go and check it out as they are so new and need support.
