Hello, We are looking for recommendations for reliable, loving & knowledgeable person/company to help with puppy training & walking our 11 week old puppy. All recommendations are welcome, we're close to Peckham Rye Thanks

Tony recently came and fixed some guttering that had come loose and causing problems. He came with another guy who between them navigated the challenges of getting onto the roof and did a great job. He arrived when he said he would, clear communication about the price and a really nice & honest guy - I paid him too much by mistake and he came back and returned the extra ?20 i gave him. I'll definitely use him again.

Based on the above, I contacted Tony for a non-urgent, but frustrating issue with our shower that we've put up with for over a year. Tony came out, on a Friday evening. He spent an hour identifying the problem & fixing it. He was prompt, considerate, friendly and really cared about doing a good job. Will definitely be using him again.

Hello, Can anyone recommend a face-painter for a 4 year old b'day. I'm looking for someone for probably an hour & half, on Saturday 17th in East Dulwich. Thanks

We're looking into holding a b'day party for mt 4 year old daughter & friends in a separate venue, rather than our house! We were thinking of hiring a big space for inflatables & ideally lots of sporting activities so they can run around for a couple of hours!! Anyone got any advice for good venues or are children's entertainment - i'd love to do lots of sporting games, but that all seems to start at 5 and above. Thanks Lucy

Hi, Goodrich is our closest school and that's our first choice, but we find ourselves 50metres out of last year's catchment area. (It's also where our childminder drops off/picks up, who is our lifesaver and will be hard to cope without). Fairlawn is our next closest, and we were told that we didn't stand a chance of getting in. We've heard great things about Harris, so we visited and found we're likely to be just outside that catchment area. Whilst we can put 6 schools down, I've been told only to put schools down that you are happy to send your child to. And if you don't get your first, second or third choices and get a school that you don't want then it's harder to appeal. As opposed to only putting your preferred down and not getting in and being given a school by the council, and appeal is more likely to be successful. At the moment I'm thinking of putting Goodrich/Fairlawn/Harris down in that order, hoping I get Goodrich & could go down on the waiting list for Fairlawn. I really like Harris, but it's going to make life for us a whole harder vs Goodrich. Any advice? -
Thanks Convex I was going to ask about milk. It's a real comfort thing for our 3.5 year old at the moment, so think it will be quite hard. But will ask if she wants it, I'm sure the answer will be yes!

Thankyou Lula & Jules-and-Boo I'll give your tips a try

Thankyou everyone. I'm going to persevere and be strong. The milk is probably a comfort thing as she still asks for it, but will consider reducing that. Can I ask you guys for your routines? I'm wondering whether interaction with the TV is a problem, but to be honest that's what help wind her down.
