  1. Our daughter started 6th form this year and is really happy. I am really impressed with the pastoral care as well as the academic - they?ve been brilliant at communication too and extra-curricular. The windows are being updated at present so it does look a bit like a building site but I wouldn?t let that put you off.
  2. We've just done this and used Randox and posted it back at Southwark Cathedral. Received result by text and email the next day.
  3. We have parcels that keep coming to our house for her. We've lived here for 15 years so pretty sure it's mistake and they are all hand written.
  4. A couple of handwritten parcels have come to our house for Rosalind Lowe. Get in touch if you know her.
  5. Yes - she was found at The Neighbourhood Vets as someone had taken her in. I think she worries people as she looks abandoned but she's just a bit old. We are keeping her in for the time being! Thanks all!
  6. If anyone is also interested in an assessment for Dyscalculia, then I can really recommend Marianne Boutall. She recently assessed our eldest and the report and assessment process was very thorough and is going to be brilliantly helpful for addressing gaps. She can be reached at [email protected]
  7. Gosh - just seen this. Will ring first thing. Thank you.
  8. Our cat of nearly 20 years has taken herself off for the last two days. She did this last year and turned up in Kennington. so we hold out hope! However if, by any chance, you see a very old fluffy cat with fur lumps around the Muschamp/Marsden/Ondine/Oglander area, please let us know.
  9. Hello! I can recommend Claire www.dulwichdyslexia.co.uk .She was brilliantly efficient at turning around a report when we needed it and although we paid, her prices were very reasonable considering the amount of work she did carrying out the tests and writing up a very full report.
  10. Apologies if this is too late but I've had no access all day to a computer. My daughter spotted the cat by a car on the road going away from Choumert where The Montpelier is. We were in a huge rush this morning and couldn't stop to examine it closely but it seemed to be grey/tabbysish with a very fluffy tail - almost foxy. So sorry if this is yours.
  11. Hello, Stefan runs drumming at the Dulwich Leisure Centre after school a couple of days a week. He is great. https://www.drumsandpercussion.co.uk
  12. Our cat went missing on Saturday morning. She's very old (18) and doesn't normally go far or cross the road but could be in any gardens behind us. She's black and small and a bit blind. Her fur has reddish. brownish patches on her tummy. Found today in Kennington! We had a phonecall from the fabulous London Animal Hospital in Camberwell who told us someone had brought her to them. They checked her over and cared for her till they could reach us and wouldn't accept any payment or donation. Amazing people.
  13. Steve is astounding. He had just the right part for my washing machine door and came within an hour of me ringing him as he was in the area.
  14. Fell out of pocket whilst running in Peckham Rye area. It's an electronic on no key ring.
  15. I'll pm you...
  16. We have a new au pair who has been with us a couple of weeks. I think by now quite a few of the au pairs have established groups but she'd love to make friends with any local au pairs who still fancy meeting someone new. She's 21 and from France. We are near Goose Green/Bellenden.
  17. We really like the new Head. He's put in some very positive changes and would second that there is a lovely community feeling about the school.
  18. We have a new au pair who has just started at the weekend form France. She would love to meet anyone who is local and around. Can you pm me if you are interested.
  19. We have a French au pair starting in September who would love to meet up with others - she arrives on the 11th.
  20. Full report on Kingsdale now published here - https://reports.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-reports/find-inspection-report/provider/ELS/136309
  21. It's great news - well deserved. Quite a few children we know near us behind Goose Green go.
  22. Now found! He was doing a spot of golf on the course. Phew! Thanks to everyone who looked.
  23. Thanks Chuff. Still missing 😢
  24. My friend's dog ran off today in Nunhead Cemetery. He's a brown dachshund called Barnaby. I've tried attaching a photo but to no avail but he has lighter brown patches on his face and tummy. There's a photo of him on the @MeetHouseLane twitter feed.
