The South London Vegan Society certainly is out to expand the veggie empire, especially when the meat and dairy industry is actually working in our favour. I see you didnt comment on the fact that Alan medic also asked what liver pate is? So he's not serving FG - not sure why he didnt answer me that in the first place on Twitter. Amazing when it takes a vegan to set up a butcher day isnt it? Perhaps Hugeunot you could help? Or anyone else who repeatedly comments on my threads as pro-meaters. Or are you all content with merely commenting about things?

Hey guys, What is corporate numbering? Ive been charged ?5 on my mobile bill and the number 05602534528 which I googled and it said it was corporate numbering. Ive googled this and couldn't find much - does anyone know what this is and how to stop it in the future? Thanks, Tom

Yeh I saw that, but wasn't sure if it was indeed foie gras (can't you get liver pate that isnt FG?), not sure why he isnt using the wording foie gras? I did ask Rod but he said just check the website, he didnt say yes / no. I sign off Tom, Geoff, because I class these messages as little email type things, and it makes it less anonymous. Ha! Meat production creates more CO2 than the worlds ENTIRE transport systems. Thats a good reasons to do a meat free day. Drive a Hummer, Go Vegan. Everyone is a winner. Where abouts do you live in ED Huguenot? Tom

Interestingly, (whether you choose to believe it or not) 'animal rights' are in third place for my reasons for being vegan and encouraging others to think about like without using animal products. Although I find the abuse of animals repulsive, my biggest concerns are the 1) destruction of the environment land / sea / energy and the 2) damaging of human health that come with our western view of animal product consumption. A small amount of research will tell you these are big issues, that even the EU and UN are starting to grapple with. Foie Gras and Circuses, (that have featured and received a great post response on EDF) aren't my main concerns. Perhaps on the EDF I should have simply focused on the promotion of meat free days. However, I focused on that outside the EDF (and received a positive response from schools, churches, local businesses, MPs and Councillors. I find it perplexing that people take shots at me, simply for getting involved in the community and trying tackle issues that I think are important. ps. If they don't use fleas - what do they use?
