The Fire Brigade website says: Eight fire engines and 58 firefighters and officers have been attending a fire in a building on Havelock Walk in Forest Hill. The building contains workshops with flats above and the fire was in one of the flats. Around a quarter of the first floor was damaged by the fire. Firefighters were called at 1708 and the fire was under control by 1921. Crews from Forest Hill, West Norwood, Downham, Lewisham, Peckham and Norbury were at the scene. The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
