  1. Still a pity they did not put in a sauna and steam room, any reason why they didn't James?
  2. His balls will be getting heavier and heavier as he goes along...
  3. Our 8 week old is growing soooo fast.... Things ticked off, number 1 teat, mini nappies, newborn vests and grows bagged up...
  4. What about Franklins farm shop on the lane?
  5. Did the baby have any vaccs jabs previous to these mental episodes?
  6. Well done to all and thanks James, the new revamped gym looks great, the creche offering is great value too, for babies 6 months and older. Nice one guys.

  10. A friend of mine gave me a water cannon, typical this is, foxes are not coming round this way at the moment at the upper west side.
  11. Happy birthday lm. Best wishes. Mwah! :)-D
  12. Nice one James, good to have choice and variety in free weights. As dulwichbloke said above as long as they are not hogged for hours by the same people...
  13. Another recommendation here for Verona Hall, a lovely lovely lady.
  14. My tuppence worth, everyone here talks about cows milk, how about nanny infant goats milk that surely is easier to digest. Anybody used this for their baby to reduce allergies?
  15. Do agents call it 'top heavy' if the number of bedrooms is not proportionate to the size of garden? I had that issue once and just asking the question of what people think? A 24 kw boiler should be sufficient but depends on the size of house. If you are midworks then it would be more cost effective and less hassle to do this now. Why has this idea come up now though, shouldn't the architect have pointed out his option from the start? hope it's going well GG...
  16. I would still recommend wearing the whole kit when possible too.
  17. Welcome back CC. :)-D
  18. They have planning to build 2 times 1 bed flats along side shop, hefty prices though..
  19. Baby k got me a fab pressie, she is so sweet and so clever for doing that at 2 months. We had a great lunch time party for dads.
  20. Oh boy, best get things done if you can, you'l feel much better for it and if you can't do it just ask for help. CitEd gimme a shout if you need a hand in those chores..

Looks good MP if it works well enough with this. Or you could be on to a winner if you made one yourself, for each region even.
  22. Thank you ladies and gent. Apologies to Fuschia if the OP is confusing. The baby is doing well in breastfeeding and in taking the bottle. We are not falling out over this.:)) Mummy is ok with me using the dummy out and about in short bursts but am stepping back from this now. As some have said it is a useful tool as long as it does not get reliant upon and i would not want this either, but i am looking out for mummy too. It is a tricky subject and with friends and family it has mixed views as on here. Using my little finger has been useful but almost impossible when in transit and when the babe is screaming her head off (and you cant sterilise your finger right?) I have found this subject to be full of confliction and vanity. One friend in the park shouted to her partner "quick hide the dummy". Well, ffs, let mummy be the dummy......for now..
  23. Baby K is solely breast fed and has bottle feeds from me ( with breast milk) to get her used to me/it and she does great with it. I have noticed how she is falling asleep more so whilst bottle feeding though and it feels like it's because she uses mummy as a dummy after she cries. There have been a few discussions between mummy and daddy about the use of dummys. I have used the dummy several times for our 5 week old with success on each occasion whilst being caught out in transit to calm her down (dummy has been sterilised each time readers). We have ceased to have our discussions (ok or arguments more like) about the use of dummys. So every time baby cries should she mummy as a dummy? Do you give your baby a dummy and what are the downsides to it if you have found any? Mummy does not want to use a dummy. Thanks
  24. Yep barbers in the old photo shop next to Mrs Robinson. The dentist at the roundabout is taking ages. New optcians steaming ahead now. Old fireplace place shop is up for grabs if anybody needs it. This makes four new shops. :))
