Just to follow up my previous message Andy has continued to be amazing. The electric hob was not an exact fit so Andy arranged for the granite to be cut and then fit the hob. Exactly what was needed and he couldn't have been more helpful, efficient and reasonably priced.

Andy has just resealed my bath and fixed a hole in the wall that I thought was going to need full-on plastering. He even sorted out a bath plug that hasn't been working properly for over a year whilst he was at it! He is going to be coming to fit an electric hob in the next few weeks. He is trustworthy, efficient and reliable and I couldn't recommend him more. Andy's number is 07564194363

Stephen was absolutely brilliant in advising on carpet. He and Simon then came and fitted the carpet for all of my upstairs last week and did a really great and efficient job. I would definitely recommend!!

This is a long stretch but I'm finishing an album this week and have a sudden urge to have some female vocals on a few of the songs. Nothing complicated. I've got a studio in South Bermondsey and thought I'd just put this up on the off-chance that a female folky singer, or someone who knows one, may be skimming this forum tonight. Hi all, There seem to be a number of fiddle players based around the area from the musiciansinyourcity website, but I am finding it impossible to use the site, so thought I may try out here. I am a composer and performer, and have mainly been working with a string quartet on a fusion project over the last few years alongside theatre projects, but am now very much up for working on a folk project. I have written 11 songs with a guitarist/mandolinist, but we are really interested in getting together a nice group to play with, and co-write more, and record and then play...Nothing major at all commitment wise, just a good fun project. Some of my music can be heard at www.richardnorrismusic.com (though this is a new direction for me so not much folky), but the kind of area I am thinking is Karen Matheson, Kate Rusby terriotory with three part harmonies when needed. Hi all, I've just moved to East Dulwich - really like the area - but just noticed this thread and was wondering if the plane noise has been worse over the last few days than normal? I've been looking around and been here alot over the last few months and haven't really noticed any plane noise but yesterday and today has been like living right next to an airport!!I was out near Hounslow today and the planes seemed less frequent there than here! Or maybe I am just focussing in on it subconciously?? Look forward to meeting people. Richard.
