  1. Sorry to hear this. These types of incidents seem to be getting common around Dulwich these last few weeks. Anyway, I'm glad they took your phone and not your life. All the best.
  2. All the best Tessa. Enjoy your retirement.
  3. Wow! Thanks for sharing this....
  4. I can understand where these protesters are coming from. For example, I believe fox hunting is banned in this country as well as bull fighting in Spain. What I don't get is why now? Zippos Cirus has been entertaining audiences around this side for years. Seems out of the blue to me.
  5. I won't bother elaborating what the rumour is based on because as you said it's "disrespectful" dispite the fact in my post I haven't publically named the person who is doing it (a black guy with mental health issues could be anybody) which would be disrespectful. I hope whoever is doing it gets the help they need. Thank you.
  6. Rumour has it is a black guy with mental health issues who lives along that road. I think someone with relevant resources should set up a hidden camera and nail the culprit once and for all! It is annoying.
  7. Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything that can be done about this. It has been going on for a long time. The only way to nail the person is to set up hidden cameras. It happens every eight weeks.
  8. That's a shame. The Patels are such a lovely family. Alot of petty crimes happening around the East Dulwich lately. I was reading in the Southwark News about crimes on Dog Kennel Hill and Glennary Road recently. Glad none of the Patel family where hurt.
  9. Wow! Where did get these photos? Do you have anymore? I would love to actually see the kennels. Thanks for uploading these.
  10. In response to Wee Quinnie, I was refering to what JoJobaby said above in the thread. I have no idea if Rose is linked to this apparent new venture. Sorry if what I wrote may above misled you or anyone else following this thread. Once again, I wish Rose nothing but the best in whatever she's doing!
  11. All the best Rose in your new venture. I was unable to pop into your store on Saturday to say goodbye so I hope you are reading this! You were always polite and friendly to me and my twin girls when we came into your store. I can't wait to see what your going to bring to East Dulwich. A little birdie told me residents around here won't be let down...
  12. You are such a tease...I am excited now! Can't wait!!
  13. Alot of independent businesses (and I am not being negative here)in East Dulwich close and re-open under new names. For example, The Black Cherry on Lordship Lane closed and re-opened as The Draft.Grace & Favour is in a prime spot on North Cross Road. Yes, it sad to see the store close and Rose is a lovely woman and I wish her the best. I'd give it three weeks if that until Grace & Favour is re-opened under a new name or business.
  14. That's a shame. I remembered when she just openend as a cafe (around the the same time as Blue Mountain to be exact) but switched to selling soft furnishings. When is the exact closing date please? It would be nie to give her a proper send off!
  15. Book.
