  1. He is based up in North London but I know he will travel... Richard from Sparky Songs (google it!) is amazing. We and my sisters kids used to go to the classes every week and have had him for birthdays etc three or four times. A talented but also funny musician who does the classics with a twist and some of his own. The kids all join in too. If you book him ask for the pirate song (my fave!)
  2. Sorry - at work so missing this week pah Jude x (Maddie with her dad!)
  3. Me too, 1ish unless she does long nap! Jude
  4. Me too! And classes for four yr old's generally would be good
  5. Trampolining at JAGS sports centre is good for an energetic small one! Southbank quite good running around space and the transport museum great on a rainy day
  6. Hi there, I was going to have people round to mine tomorrow for those that fancied but I have had a hectic week with work and nanny interviews... Therefore can I suggest putting that off til next week instead?! Happy to come wherever tomorrow subject to naps (ha) x
  7. Yes,flower, that was what worried me as I cant see how the usual charity selling through their shop would really be able to cope with all the clothes. It was why I had been keen to use the Barry road hostel as then a baby or three could be entirely kitted out! It is why I also thought women's refuge like Cora suggests as often likely to have kids - its just whether I can find one and whether they do want the stuff
  8. We have three huge bags of newborn to six mth baby clothes, lots of grobags, change bag, box of toys and books and a Moses basket plus sheets etc that we want to donate but when we called on Monday they said they had enough baby clothes ... Just thought I would give the heads up and also ask if anyone has any other ideas for where to donate? It's a large amount of clothes etc and I would like to find a good home for them!
  9. Hey ... Maddie finally on the mend and we will come unless she does a restorative mega sleep (ha!) Unlikely to be costumed up tho unless I am struck by DIY inspiration... X
  10. Hey, I am up for a meet ... Shall we say 2ish at the EDT to allow for naps and, Ehem, possible cinema trips?! Missed last week so would be good to catch up Jude x
  11. Hi there Sorry for silence... Family visiting and poor Maddie had a stinking virus and so there has not been much in the way of sleeping in this household! Drinks sounds lovely and will put in my diary... I have a case at work that day so there may be a problem if I have been away all day too but hoping by then M will be a little less dependent Hope to see you all in Thursday too... Might attempt baby cinema and then meet unless the weather is glorious (!) Jude and Maddie x
  12. Hey, was about to set off but actually Maddie is very coldy (up a lot in the night joy) and though cheery should probably stay at home today. See you all next time instead... Jude x
  13. I know... Scary how quickly time passes. Return to work beckons shudder! Anyone up for meet tomorrow? I might go to Baby cinema and / or might need to be in for a delivery but otherwise (!) always up for a catch up. Good luck with the move, Victoria Jude and Maddie
  14. Hi all, always up for a meet. See you there x
  15. I was told by my midwife that you now need two referrals but that you can get them from the breast feeding clinics especially the one on wednesday at rosendale and Thursday at Peckham library as there are specialist lactation hvs there. They are v nice too! That said with my first I got Ann Dobson a lactation consultant to come to my house and she did the snip on our sofa with the minimum of fuss. This was north London but she travels all over. Think it cost about ?100 about four yrs ago. You can google her, she was pretty good I think Good luck: your hv sounds hopeless so ignore her
  16. Hi! Clock house was quite nice last week... What's the weather up to?,! Jude
  17. The young guys have always been v friendly and nice and always bring me water without asking when they see that I am feeding. True might be a different story with a toddler! Seats are sooo uncomfortable though
  18. Ooh interested too as about to book it for my four yr old's birthday - the guy running it seems great and I imagine the slightly anarchic chaotic feel will suit the kids even if it makes me a bit nervy! But I would like to know how others did it and whether I should just 'go with the flow'
  19. Will try to get there by 1 but cleaner came late so bit tricky... Come for half an hour Nat! Or ask aunt to be a bit later?! X
  20. Darn, tempted by cinema but have to be in to show new cleaner the ropes... So I can come to EDT just after 1 assuming all goes well and subject to naps etc Jude x
  21. If Lizzie booked up try Elaine (tho she equally popular but I had to reschedule my appt today at 10.30 so you might get lucky)... She is fab and They both worked / trained at the OCC which is like the Mecca for baby osteos! I went there first time round when it was in clerkenwell and they were amazing. The key is to get an appt with someone good ASAP as its the feeling of helplessness that I found hardest Good luck Jude
