  1. well put.. thanks for that and even if I am a troll?don't trolls get a say?
  2. glad to see there are some smart people on here
  3. ha ha cheers!
  4. that's a really clever answer..so i'm just some nutjob without a life for participating in this forum?
  5. Crossing Lordship Lane as a pedestrian (aka.taking your life in your hands) now that's something to get steamed up about.
  6. I don't think anyones being snide and it's stuff that needs to be said. I'm sure I'd be biting back if I was a mum in ED but I'm not so it makes me the angry minority
  7. Polly D Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Well said giggirl. Boobs out in public, pooey > nappies, prams - blimey - are babies allowed?! well we are talking about a public cafe and definitely no to pooey nappies. You've got the disabled loos and changing tables for that. Prams ok but not rammed into my ankles and boobs keep them covered-most people do anyway. Breastfeeding is fine for me, my biggest whinge is the lack of quiet places to go for a coffee and feeling like a footman to unappreciative mums.
  8. Anyone else tired of being surrounded by screeching toddlers?. I'm happy that most places are mum and child friendly but it has to be a two way stream. If you baby is screaming take them outside and I know you are knackered but do not ram into me with your buggy either.
  9. frightfully bourgeois, ditzy, chaotic, and a little stressful but the food quality tends to be better here than anywhere else. The Kurdish Cafe on Bellenden road would be the best place around in terms of price and service but unfortunately they don't serve proper coffee and their sausages are pink sawdust.
  10. I like the place.. theoretically and think they're almost there. the inside is cosy and smart without being annoying shabby chic. the bar staff are nice , pints are reasonable and i'm glad they are not above putting a screen in for football. I'm not into the expensive food so much either and I'm sure the quality is quite good but for those prices I need something a bit special. They need some nice framed posters or prints on the walls and they'd rake it in if they did mums and baby lunches.Lets' give the mums and tots somewhere to go where they are not getting under everyone else's feet.Get some crisps behind the bar!!
