Is it just me, or do the busses seem much better this year so far... up to Christmas i often used to have to watch a couple of full busses fly past - but since the new year, they seem more frequent and much easier to get on. (i get on opposite Lucas) Anyone else noticed?

seems to me 90p for 45 mins (2p per min) vs ?2 for 15 mins (13.33p per min) the bus wins hands down for value for money!!

Finally got round to trying Ganapati last week after several failed attempts and have to say i was impressed all round. will definitely be going back soon. Tandoori Nights is the only other curry house in the area in my opinion that is in the same league. (i exclude Babur here, as whilst very good, it's not your typical curry house - curry wasn't meant to be posh nosh!)

i'll maybe pop down after a couple of Diamond whites in the park -
surely its the people not the venue that counts...lets all get carrier bags full of Hooch/thunderbirds/K cider/kestrel super strength etc and hang around the swings in goose green park for the evening!!!

ok so lets get some perspective on this...where does ED rate on the world curry league tables? i would say that Tandoori nights just about scrapes into my premier league, but that's it. i think the rest are languishing in league 1 somewhere... (excuse the football analogy) however, ready to be shot down...

Maybe my expectations had been to high, having read some of the praise here, but i've had a couple of take-aways from Omrith (4 dishes total including the wife's), and i have to say i didn't find any stood out from the rest of the ED offerings - except for the shank with mince and potatoes, which was particularly bad (like a shank in shepherds pie gravy). Off to Tooting tonight though for proper curry!!!
