  1. I have seen a lady on a number of occasions "crying" and distressed but ultimately asking for money but would not articulate what was wrong. I foolishly did the first time, but please be warned.
  2. I'd love to see the face on the agents when the email lands informing they are being transferred from the Notting Hill office to 'Bellenden Village' AKA Rye Lane!
  3. Welcome! If you are into fitness British Military Fitness in Dulwich Park or Peckham Rye is a great way to meet new people. https://www.britmilfit.com/ I've been going a few years and have got to know some great people. Also there is Park Run http://www.parkrun.org.uk/ A great way to combine with the curry Club I reckon.
  4. Good shout. As a fellow resident and local business owner I will be glad to support this.
  5. Fair enough. I don't really have time to read every other post. just thought people might be interested.
  6. In case anyone is interested in local history, there is a BBC television programme on Camberwell Grove next week http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/proginfo/2012/24/secret-streets-camberwell-grove.html
  7. You are right StraferJack. I just assumed as that logo was not on their homepage it was different. There you go then. Scottish Ghostbusters in ED!
  8. So would I. A google search does not really bring anything up about this company (apart from a similar one in Scotland that does not seem to be linked) Strange it has no contact details on as far as the photo shows. Maybe for TV?
  9. I run local graphic design business and I'm on twitter in case of interest to anyone @GroveParkDesign
  10. Smashing. I will buy a cone off him next time he passes. Or maybe a Maxibong.
  11. We run offices on Gowlett Road and personly I'm looking forward to a fish and chip shop as long as its good. Tesco's is not the best after a while. I don't think we need another trinket/card/baby clothes/gift etc shop or curry house.
  12. Good on you Mark. These idiots will help me focus when using the punchbag in the gym later. Some people really are unbelieveable.
  13. I do. Great post, made me laugh.
  14. I like the idea, would be interested in seeing your designs and hope it works for you.
  15. Really worrying, to say the least
  16. Scum. Report him. What a worringly cold and sick human being
  17. Sorry to hear your news bloonoo. I use Dropbox (http://www.dropbox.com/) to back up all my photographs, business and personal files. Before this I used an external hard drive and left it at a friends like a spare set of keys. My office on Gowlett Road got burgled over this xmas and this allowed me to start again with no data lost when my new computer arrived. I know no consolation to you now bloonoo, but anyone reading this who has not backed up there photos and files PLEASE DO IT. You will be gutted if the worst happens.
  18. MrBen, thoughts with you mate, happened to me when I was younger and dented my confidence for a while. People like this really are scum.
  19. A Indian restaurant to fill the gap in the local market?
  20. I make this trip on a regular basis to watch the internationals. I go Peckham Rye - Battersea Park Battersea Park to Clapham J Clapham J - Twikenham. Sounds a bit long winded but because of the train frequency takes 40 minutes. Costs about a fiver if you do this route (not through central london)
  21. Thanks for direction to fixture lists. I will be there to support this year
  22. I'm going to pop down for a few games this season. Is there a fixture list available online?
  23. SSD also used to sport a beard and his nickname was 'the bear'.
  24. I run a local business and know how high the rent is for that double unit that Nero occupies. If Nero shuts it is likely to remain empty. Certainly no idependent could afford the massive outgoings during their first year. Lets support Nero for the sake of the staff jobs and not having an empty space. If you do object to it just don't go in there
  25. I agree. If you are travelling to the West End you have to purchase return tickets to the mainline station then also use the Oyster on the tube. Another transport rip off I'm afraid and I imagine there will be no rush to change the situation.
