Dog Fouling in the East Dulwich area

I've noticed a lot of small turds resembling dog mess around my road, As we keep seeing a family of four foxes in our garden and seem to be hearing a lot of foxes in the area I wondered if they could be to blame? Particularly as there are 3 small cubs who obviously have been recent additions to the population (plus I assume there are others), possibly hence the sudden spate in mess!
