Just wondering what there is to do there that the kids (8 and 4) will be into and if anyone has a recommendation for a good hotel/B&B? Any advice most welcome! Thanks.
Andy is really very good indeed. He's sorted an achilles tendon and IT band injury in just a couple of sessions. As an added bonus he worked on my neck and shoulders too with wonderful results.
I just wanted to add my bit for Steve and his team who did a sterling job on my 100-year old windows earlier this year (I've written about this elsewhere on the forum). Having had some building work done subsequently, a few of the windows had got knocked and panes cracked in the process. Steve's guys came over and repaired the lot (5 of them in all) in just a day and a half. I was dreading the dust and mess to be honest as the house is now (finally) nearly finished and Steve said the frames had to come out to get the glazing in. However his boys did a ridiculously neat job and were painstaking in the way they cleared up at the end of the day. Amazing service and didn't cost the earth. In my entire ground-floor-to-roof-refurb I can honestly say the windows were the least stressful element of the whole project.
Anyone done it? Googling brings up conflicting advice re. what kind of paint to use. Emulsion or oil based? I'm erring on side of the latter but would like to hear from someone who's already done it if poss...
Great - both replies very helpful. KK, did PVA leave a shiny finish at all? I want the bricks to look exactly as they do now (ie. no sign of a coating or change of colour etc) Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Has anyone done this? Just wondering what product to use. Googling hasn't provided much info. I want to stop the bricks flaking and prevent dust with something that has a dead flat matt finish. Any help would be much appreciated.
Just wondering if the pros (no grouting/seamless, hardwearing, warm underfoot) outweigh the cost? Also, if anyone can recommend any suppliers that'd be great. Thanking you in advance.
A long shot but just wondering if anyone has had these installed? I'd really like to see some in situ and/or hear people's feedback before I plump for them instead of good old Velux. Thanks.
I also had Carly over for a Brazilian treatment. She was such a lovely girl and did a really great job. I've had this done elsewhere before but Carly's done a much better job. I have super thick fuzzy hair which is now really sleek. Amazing and well worth the money.
