We have a free Ikea NYHAMN sofabed to give away. We've only had it ourselves for about 2 months as it was passed on to us by a friend to use as a temporary sofa while we waited for a new one. It's in full working order but does show signs of wear in places. It comes with a removable teal cover. Please see the attached. The cat is not included but shown in the picture to say that we do have a cat, though we are a smoke-free home! 🙂 A screenshot of the dimensions is also attached for reference. Our new sofa comes on Monday, and we need this gone ASAP to make room, so we will have to prioritise the person who can pick it up the quickest. If you have any questions, please let me know. Hi all, Does anyone know of a local women's or family shelter that might want donated used toys for Christmas? Doesn't need to be a shelter but any organisation that serves families in need or refugees; basically anyone who might appreciate good quality used toys. Would appreciate any suggestions! Many thanks

Recommendation for local solicitor for wills
Mrsrhireid posted a topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi there, Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a local solicitor to handle our will? Looking for someone who isn't crazy expensive but good and nice to deal with. Many thanks -
Hi there, I wonder if anyone might have any good ideas of places that I could donate some baby and kids items? Some of it is in excellent condition and some more used, but still with plenty of life left in it. A mixture of clothes, toys and other practical items. I'm really struggling to find somewhere (probably due to the time of year I'm sure. I've tried women's refuges I can find and my local community centre. Does anybody know of any refugee collections or similar happening at the moment? I really don't want to throw it away as it's nice stuff, but I need to get it out of my very small flat! Any ideas gratefully received. Many thanks

Does anyone have any good suggestions/recommendations for somewhere to hold a birthday party for my son who is turning 4 in July? We've done the Peckham Playroom before which was great. Any reasonably priced suggestions would be very welcome! Many thanks

Bessemer Grange reception 2016
Mrsrhireid replied to Mrsrhireid's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi Amy, Thank you. I've found the message and joined the mailing list! Really looking forward to meeting some of the other parents and new starters. Very best, Rhiannon -
Hi there, My son is due to start reception at Bessemer this September but unfortunately we don't know anyone else who will be. I just wanted to see if anyone here has a child starting this year who might want to meet up a few times over the summer. I know there's a welcome picnic in June and the summer fair, but thinking it couldn't hurt to do some playing before then! It's such a large school and I'd really like it if he knew a couple of kids before going. He's been in the same nursery since he was one so its going to be a huge change. Thank you!

Hi there, I just came on to post the same question. Did you manage to find any small local firework displays by any chance? Thanks!
