  1. I think people are missing the point of this thread! Arguing over postcodes. About as thoughtless as the perpetrators of this assault & robbery? Shockingly bad form.
  2. JetSetWilly Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > so someones been mugged big deal. I thought the victim had been kicked & punched???? Isnt that assualt?? Isnt that ABH or GBH ??? NO Big Deal untill it happens to you. Can leave victims scared to walk the streets. Can virtually cripple people from leaving their homes.. Have a heart.
  3. Sad to hear this mlewis, I hope you & your boyfriend are ok. I know from experience that these traumas can last days months & even years. Such a terrible assault. To just Beat up your boyfriend for no reason other than personal Gain. What would drive young men to do this? My thoughts are that this runs deeper than just a mugging & that its questionable if its possessions Or money they are really after.? I would say Status & ego Run a higher reward for these people. Gangs are a breeding ground for Hate crimes against un-armed & easy civilian prey. These Hoodlums are probably unaware of their wrong doing & plotting their next attack on the defenseless. A description is useless, as if they swarm in a group, how would you be able to select one individual out from the crowd. The White bandanna is a sure sign of a gang in that area, Who seem to attack with violence. Sickening. One day a real rain will come & clean the streets of this scum.
  4. Very lovely sculptures.. The Ram is a handsome chap.. I first thought it had something to do with the Fox on the hill.
  5. Duppy town is The under 18 part of Dulwich. Sadly some over 18's get caught up with the whole click & end up looking very sad indeed..
  6. Looks like someone poo poo'ed in your baguette & charged you too much money for it.. Nice...
  7. Thanks to andypandy, I have just had a look through the plans for Harris academy.. ?5.5.1: The image of the academy was identified as important for students to engender a sense of pride & identity & also for the local community to ensure that it visually contributes to the area.? Strikes me that the new school/academy thingy will be built via the easiest and probably most cost effective methods available in modern day (B&Q warehousing) construction. Using techniques that employ a minimal of structural span & a lack of creative design.. It looks as if there is little going towards inspiring the children of tomorrow within this buildings design, A lack of thought on the drawing board may offer the children who use this building a cold & negative view of school & of their futures.. In my own view, Just one or two curves on that harsh lump of a Sausage factory would have softened the blow..
  8. I walked past the old school this weekend.. Very sad to see they are breaking down the old schools out buildings.. Really puts a tear in my eye.. Those buildings are/where so lovely.. I guess they would have been the dinner hall & maybe caretakers building.. I used to cycle past & think how well built they where & how traditional they looked.. I understand that things must move on in the modern world.. But for histories sake & preservation of London?s history these buildings should have been re-used... They seemed to be solid & no amount of modern construction could match those old buildings... Argh well, lets see what modern wonder they put in its place...
  9. I love the CO-OP.. The staff are helpfull & very good at there Jobs.. I Like as it Its very traditional.. Its not dirty, Its just used. the produce Is ok.. the fruit & veg is always ripe & ready to use. Being a convinience store I think it does the job perfectly.. #My only complaint is the mess outside the front, the array of boxes & clutter really lets it down... The Post office on the parade is really good too.. The hardwear store is ok as well... Not to keen on the make over of the laundertte.. its very Pink & The fluffy seats tickle my bum, whilst I'm watching my sheets go around... Never tried the resturants on the parade.. Not sure why? Still, this parade of shops are ok.. Its a shame to see the antique place go, But on speaking to the barber The business rates along that strech are a bomb.. Its not lordship lane or north cross road... but it has a charm of its own... As for opening a tile shop.. i reckon its a good enough idea.. cant see why not as it is better than empty shop fronts..
