I heard that all the staff went on a Peyote and Mezcal bender resulting in a 6am pledge to reclaim The Alamo for the United States of Mexico...not sure how far they made it when a shocking Sombrero failure at high altitude led to a forced basejump over The Galapagos Islands. Via con dios indeed.

Camellias? Dont know about that but I did see a fine pair of Fillies. Lots of hidden away bits in Mt.Edgcumbe, worth getting lost in.

I passed through this weekend. To be honest we walked from Mt.Edgcumbe to Kingsand/Cawsand and caught the bus from there. But I know you can catch it from Bretonside or Royal Parade in Plymouth. You go across the Torpoint Ferry and I think it takes about 45mins all told.

Double check and see if they need someone to cater for them? Cakes, tarts, soups etc.

I think the RH Tony(Wedgewood)Benn has essentialy the same flat that he had way back in the 50s...never thrown anything away apparently(apart from his land and titles and that). Wish I could say the same but techno porn is nearly as exciting as actual porn.

?42 a month for the Fusion Gyms and whilst East Dulwich is a bit scabby Peckham is great. Clean with wonderful amenities and helpful staff. Plus you can actually move in the pool during lane swims unlike dulwich in which rubbish swimmers block up all the lanes so you can only do 1 lap every 10 mins. Bah.

The 81 to Cremyll will get you there and its a little more frequent than Hourly during the summer months, failing that you can get the ferry to Mt.Edgcumbe and walk the 8 mile coastal path. Nice.

This is my first tomato growing year. The little beauties are a little over 7cm tall at the mo. I got a little carried away and put them outside to soak up the rays this weekend whilst I went down to Devon. They were more than a little shrivelled and battered when I got back. Idiot, I know. They're back inside now and all but one seem to have recovered.

The Dulwich Cafe always strikes me as a pretty clean place with staff who seem genuinely pleased to have your custom and their prices are nothing to be sniffed at.

To be fair most places in and around Dulwich resembles a creche these days but the one and only time I've been in there(for a pretty decent cup of coffee)it was bedlam. No reflection on the Cafe or on Dulwichs' mums, just how I found it.

The plastic bowl attachment for my newly bought a heavy duty(delete brand name prior to administrator doing so)hand blender has just developed a big old crack(No, not like Vanessa Feltz'), and it got me to thinking about how shoddy everything I buy these days seems to be. I know I shouldnt be too surprised but I do expect things to last a couple of years at least, I mean why-o-why-o-why-o-why etc. Disgruntled of Tunbridge Wells.
