  1. I cycle from Forest Hill road to The City every morning and find the old canal path behind Peckham library is fine and pretty quiet. Download the Cycle routes in Southwark and follow route 22, this allows you to miss pretty much all the traffic up until London Bridge and the dreaded City run. Good luck.

    PIZZA

OK its a bit Herne Hill but The Full Moon do superb Pizzas and when I was down their for the footie recently it was buy BOGOF Monday 2 for ?8. Cant go wrong. :))
  3. Me and the Celtic tigress popped into Brixton Ritzy on Saturday and caught this little gem. Scabrouslly funny and it has both Brendan Gleeson and old Snake Eyes Mark Strong in it. Go see it...now..
  4. I think you've pretty much nailed it.
  5. I'm sure the burgers are delicious(never had one though so couldnt comment)...I was talking about the pork baps, and if there were 'sides' I never saw any.
  6. Popped into the rye hotel yesterday evening for a go on one of The Meatwagons Famous Hog Roasts only to find I'd accidently payed ?8- for a couple of scraps of Stringy cardboard sandwiched between a Submarine roll that was so sugary it could have passed itself off as an iced bun, all topped off with a of piece crackling you could scrape ice off a windscreen with...and no blinking apple sauce. Rubbish. The Delicious Burger we had at Pull The Other One on Friday however was a true joy, well done those people at Handmade on Barry Road. Delicious and good value.
  7. Thats 3 for the 2 sisters in Nunhead. My housemate swears by them and I fancied a Ruby on Friday so took his recommendation and was impressed. Unlike a lot of other Indians they're food wasnt swimming in a pool of Ghee and there was no evidence of a generic cover all sauce. Fresh and great value. (tu)
  8. ...from Here apparently.
  9. My sleepless nights have been restored.
  10. Aye, and no bonfire...but still, better than nowt. Is there another decent sized one nearby, Crystal Palace, Burgess etc?
  11. I get quite stroppy with cars in The Cycle boxes at lights and will you usually fix them with a steely, cold eyed stare while positioning myself in front of oncoming traffic because of their selfishness. I cant say they notice though.
  12. What happened to Brockwell park? Was planning on a trip down there this Friday.
  13. Have listened to him for years on Radio London, but oddly this trend has fallen off recently so I had no idea! I wondered why Alan Davies was in for him on 5live this Saturday(I was only glad it wasnt the unfortunately ubiquitous Richard Bacon doing the stand-in). Best wishes out to The Candyman.
  14. Yeah, I posted something along these lines ages ago. I've got a load of DJ Kicks, Fabric etc compilations that splinter into separate files when added to the Itunes library. Annoying. I also have a number of albums on there that simply dont play anymore. Any help would be great.
  15. Pools great, but as someone who swims up to 5 times a week that bloody mix tape they have on a permanent loop which is piped into the dressing rooms is starting to resemble some form of torture. If you need a couple of CDs burned off to replace aforementioned aural monstrosity drop me a line. ;-)
  16. Nicely done despite all the grumbles, but I think the thermostats broken.
  17. The 25th falls on a Saturday. Whatever, I'm just glad we've got our pool back. :))
  18. The new Uplands faces stiff competition in the accommodation stakes:
  19. I agree, cant wait for it to reopen. I cycled past today and its looking great. The lack of communication on Fusions ED website has been a little frustrating though. Less than 2 weeks to go then?
  20. Gawd, I've missed having the pool just around the corner from me and look forward to the grand opening(whenever that may be). Does anyone know if my Fusion membership will still be valid at East Dulwich? I only ask because I know that you cant use it at Brockwell despite it being a Fusion Gym.
  21. I've just finished Mass Effect 2 if anyone fancies a swapsie?

I have a real soft spot for this game, its as repetitive as a Status-Quo compilation album but theres something so satisfying about setting fire to dry grassland...wheres me Swan Vesta.
  23. Genius comedy that slipped under most peoples radar, I picked up the complete series box set from Asda recently. A steal at 18 quid!
  24. Yeah, I'm fast losing patience with Peckham. Great pool but not sure whose brainwave it was to close both Dulwich and Camberwell at the same time. Duh!
