  1. Boom boom!
  2. Nice Backgammon boards also.
  3. Husk. Thats the culprit.
  4. Have Arse fans fallen so low that they now resort to celebrating Citehs failings. The shame. Still, your right it is quite funny.
  5. ?
  6. I so wanted to start a thread on this but realised I'd come across as a bit of a whining tit...however I've lived in Dulwich for 5 years and it seems that Rye lane has had roadworks on it for the majority of that time. Grr..I'm just saying is all. My commute into work of late(city)has been full of adventure what with Tooley st & Bishopsgate also Roadworked up. It certainly wakes you up in the morning I can tell you. Over and out.
  7. Has anyone noticed the roadworks in London?
  8. Gawd bless him, fair brings a tear to the eye. ;-)
  9. ...my point exactly. I'm not keen on this enforced compliance....I blame it on The Queen of Hearts, Lady Di that is.
  10. ...listening to Danny Kelly on Talksport last night were you? :)
  11. Yep.
  12. Flora-Flora-2. ;-)
  13. Yes.
  14. ...and our tradition, since time began of embroidering a stylised Poppy on the kit of our international footballers. I could almost feel the orgasmic ripple that swept through the newsrooms of the usual suspects at this latest percieved slur on our way of life by malignant foreign types. When did wearing a poppy become absolutely compulsory?
  15. 6 music for genuinely inspiring musical choice and an interesting and varied selection of broadcasters...oh and no fecking adverts.
  16. Really p**sed off that this has been cancelled. We've scant enough reason to celebrate anything in this country at the best of times...and lets face it those sanctimonious Papists had it coming. Seriously though have they reinstated the Brockwell Park event yet or are we in an official firework night dead zone?
  17. Succinctly put. Up your jumpers you posh toffee nosed types with your Pashleys made of Taramasalata.
  18. ...wow, thats never happened before. Must be out of practice.
  19. [pre] Somebody's going to claim Star Wars was filmed in Shepperton Studios next, and doesn't accurately reflect the racial make up of Mos Eisley. The Cantina reflected the myriad of ethnicities really well - they should have based the whole film there. You can landspeed past cantinas that are just like this. Do me a favour and please don't pretend Uncle Owen accrately reflected the people of Tatooine over the past three decades. [/pre] Are you suggesting that Only Fools & Horses used artistic licence in its portrayal of Peckham and its environs, and that instead of being a cutting edge documentary looking at the grittier side of life in inner London it was in fact a harmless piece of humorous fluff designed to entertain and titilate? Some claim.
  20. doowop.
  21. wam.
  22. Arent all roadworks by their very definition a problem?
  23. Aye, thats the same route as me. Its a doddle.
  24. Not sure if its been covered elsewhere in this thread but I just wanted to vent a little spleen at the amount of times on my morning commute to London Bridge from Dulwich I find vehicles obstructing the green cycle boxes at traffic lights. whats the law with regards to this infringement? Its seems to be widely flouted and really sets my teeth on edge. Whinge over...and yes I am a damn near flawless cyclist who never runs red lights and will frequently stop to help old ladies/inebriated hobos across the road.
