We have just been robbed by a member of their staff (see my thread)." in other Forum sections. Having been in a similar position as yourself, can certainly empathise with your anger, frustration etc but perhaps tread with a bit more caution and restraint.

I expected better from you Sue. . .
  3. SallyBeck Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > You can't go out on Eurovision night!!! It's about > having a Eurovision party complete with 'a shot > per point the UK get' drinking game... makes for a very sober evening. Is the game called 'nil points'? :)
  4. Guffaw. I think that's what's called a spoof. What it says on the can - 'unreliable'. For the record, the prosecco commie preaches the socialist manifesto from his country estate in Dorset and climate change, carbon footprints yadda yadda from one of his SUVs. Btw, tell me you don't get funding.
  5. The KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) for ADT's 'Residential Sales Consultants' are to sell 4 new units per week (1 self generated sale minimum) & to convert a minimum of 50% of new company generated leads provided - both of which are assessed quarterly. Which I guess explains why their re-appearance is cyclical.
  6. I tell it like it is t-e-d. Straight shootin' Stace, that's me.
  7. Laur Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How about if a house has a drive but no dropped > kerb?(and hasn't had a dropped kerb for years), > can you park in front? Actually, it is an offence to drive over a footway/pavement without a proper dropped kerb (aka legally constructed footway crossing).
  8. It'll still smell of pi**.
  9. Send them down to the 4 x 4's double parking on Village Way.

Overly simplified but: blocking in, yes, blocking out, no. The police non emergency number. Btw, there is another fairly recent thread on this.
  11. Click for Girl Guides No 'wannabe glamour model' badge then. Currently on a surgical waiting list and what irks me is the NHS funded boob job for a page 3 model and the bozo GP who signed that one off. The Sun should have bankrolled it - adding a tattoo of their logo over one and a Legoland one over the other. A missed opportunity, imho.
  12. taper Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There was a tweet from the Friends of Peckham Rye > last week about this, saying Southwark parking > target Strakers at the weekend. They do the same > outside Belair Park when the steam fair is on. Went to a charity event at Belair House (aka Beauberry House) a good few years ago. On Gallery Rd there was a small sign denoting parking allowed on pavement (2 wheels) however apparently it was only for a very restricted area right outside the entrance. In any event, playing follow the leader, everyone mounted the pavement (2 wheels) and parked. All except the ones directly next to the sign got PCNs. We successfully challenged this as there were no clear markings at the time. I recall that soon after this the signage and markings were revised.
  13. Greenwich? We've seen some right corkers at the Greenwich Theatre. Great little venue. Not sure it's up your street but maybe worth a look http://www.greenwichtheatre.org.uk/?option=com_content&view=section&layout=blog&id=2&Itemid=37
  14. Perhaps they're trying to contain the horrific stench Click Here for Skunk Another nice one, Israel.
  15. Before I took my first great leap into this abyss and posted, I took great pleasure in his much missed wit. I believe that his last post ended with "There's very little storage and no off-road car parkng". -------------------- SimonM (insert wry smile & wink emoticon)
  16. Aaaagh. I know, I know, I know - having heard the news far too many times today whilst on the M1. And if and when it happens I shall be waving him 'al Wada' from my humble home right under the flight path. It's the synonymous titles I'm fed up with. Oh, I see. You were just yankin' my chain, the-e-dealer.
  17. The repeated use of 'the radical cleric' has done my head in.

Ibiza. Sorted. Just when they seemed conspicuously silent, they provide a fairly comprehensive blueprint. Nice one. Welcome. All the best, hope it works. Cheers.

All very well > to be wrrying about the prosecution of old men > (I'm sure she meant to say prosecution, not > persecution) In the context, she did mean persecution - she goes on to refer to the 'Savile Inquisition'. In any event, what concerns me is the perceived trivialisation of "Taking girls to one?s dressing room, bottom pinching and groping in cars . . ." and "Touching a 17-year-old?s breast, kissing a 13-year-old, or putting one?s hand up a 16-year-old?s skirt."
  20. Foxtons and others, is what Anne said tonight. From BBC website: Series 31 Episode 3 of 8 DURATION: 1 HOUR Actor Nigel Havers reveals how he was cheated out of money by a rogue lettings agency, and shows how millions of tenants could also fall victim - despite government plans to regulate the property rentals sector.
  21. Gingerbeer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I feel like Ive just been ripped off. And it was > free. Indeed you have. And therein lies the beauty of it. Sheer genius.
  22. Expos? on Watchdog next week (15th): Foxtons accused of forcing tenants into signing up with Spark Energy ?that ?charges sky-high rates for power. Quelle surprise.
  23. Why is it that whenever newsreaders report on Nigeria's Islamic sect 'Boko Haram' (eg last night, 55 killed, horrific), I hear 'Procol Harum'?
