Are you sure its cat poo and not fox poo. Cats like to cover their poo whereas foxes will crap anywhere. This weekend alone I had fox poo on my front door mat (which I trod in before I knew it was there) and then a fox shat on top of my aviary whilst my birds were in it!!!!

Yesterday when i was in the west end the same thing happened to me. A guy appeared to pick up something from the pavement and then proceeded to walk over to me to show me what he had found. It appeared to be a large mans wedding ring and he asked me if i wanted it. I told him no.........and then he shrugged his shoulders and walked off!

To be honest i dont think the police do much. Last year i was being stalked by a guy that had mental health issues. I had never met the guy in my life but he had it in his head that his 2 children were living in my flat. I do not have any children. He was constantly knocking on my front door (i didnt open it) and had to call the police. they informed me that he had mental health issues and moved him on. After that i lost count at the number of times we was putting food through my door etc saying it was to feed his children. The police didnt take it seriously or do anything about it despite me having to call them on numerous occasions. The final straw was when he broke into my flat 8 floors up via the staircase and climbing along the balconies. He could have very easily fallen and killed himself. Thankfully i wasnt at home but i didnt feel safe in my own home after that. All the police did was issue me with one of those personal alarms and put a warrant out for his arrest.As far as i am aware they didnt catch him. earlier this year i moved to ED area and thankfully that was the last i saw/heard of him. I have to say the police dealing with the whole situation was very poor. I never felt safe :0(

Blimmin heck...............my stomach churned reading this. As an owner of cats im horrified to hear that something like this has happened. I hope the cat is ok and im really feeling for the cat and its owner right now. They really must bring in some law to ensure that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when out and about. (im presuming the dog wasnt on a lead)!!

i had the same problem. Ive recently moved to the area. Funnily enough my car insurance went down by ?100 even though my car is not garaged, but my bike was another story. They refused to insure me if the bike wasnt garaged. I have to rent a garage a mile from my home just so that ive got insurance cover until i can find someone to insure it if its ungaraged. If you find an insurer that insures your bike if its ungaraged please let me know.
