  1. Yoga for Perimenopause Workshop, Sunday 26th January, 2-4pm at Oru, East Dulwich. In this workshop we look at the physiology of what’s going on during perimenopause, and the triggers that can aggravate the most common and intense symptoms, such as fatigue, mood swings, hot flushes and lack of zest for life. We will practice yoga for soothing these unsettling symptoms and also get snuggled in with some deeply soothing guided Yoga Nidra meditation to explore the transformational possibilities. We will explore a toolkit of techniques, guidance, reflection and support to help you move through your menopause journey with ease and confidence. This workshop will provide an enjoyable and non judgemental space where women can come together and share their experiences, laugh and embrace the changes while also learning from one another. Practising yoga in the company of other women can feel supportive and reminds us that we are NOT alone. Tiffy has been trained in Menopause Yoga by Petra Coveney in offering holistic support to women navigating the challenges and the possibilities as they move through their own unique menopause journey. No previous yoga experience is required. Book your space: https://momence.com/Tiffy-George/Yoga-for-Perimenopause/108971811?skipPreview=true www.yogawithtiffy.com @yogawithtiffy 44 (0)7816 921139
  2. Does anyone know any local youth groups or organisations who run Duke of Edinburgh Awards activities for kids?
  3. Anyone know if Myatt's Field water play is def up and running. What about Sydenham Wells? Just like to check before heading anywhere.

  5. Tebay services in Westmorland are amazing - I think this might possibly be the nicest service station in Britain. We drive to the Dumfries area every year with two young children. Our two are not great at long journeys so we prefer to split the journey with an overnight stop. We sometimes camp in the Lakes, sometimes we stay in a cheap hotel, or stay over night with friends. This year we are stopping off at Thomas Land (not my idea!). Good luck - Galloway is well worth the long drive. It's beautiful!
  6. Last post on this was a few months ago. Does anyone know of any current offers for Legoland right now? Thanks
  7. I am setting up a new local yoga class on Thursdays 7.30-9pm. The first class begins in two weeks time, Thursday 3rd February. Harris Girls Academy East Dulwich, Homestall Road, SE22 0NR ?12 drop in (first class half price). Pre pay six classes/?60 My name is Tiffy Treanor. I am a qualified Yoga Alliance teacher trained in Astanga, Iyengar and Birthlight pregnancy yoga and have been teaching in London for 12 years. About the class These classes will draw on techniques from Astanga yoga where breath and posture are combined to explore stability and ease in your postures while developing a calm inner focus. We will look at the structure of classical postures introducing modifications to support you in practising safely and at your own pace. At times we will work dynamically to build strength and we will balance this with more restorative ways of working so that we leave the class feeling both relaxed and energised. Anyone can practice yoga. Why not come and try it? Your first class is half price! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all M. 07816 921139 ? tiffyeve@gmail.com ? www.yogawithtiffy.com
