  1. The Upland and Friern bollard is up and down more often than a pair of kangaroos in mating season.
  2. Not sure but they were there all day and also a huge unit in Dulwich Park blocking up one of the paths behind the cafe filming all day too. I always want to know what they are filing for.! Areas around East Dulwich seem very popular for filming.
  3. Sunlight
  4. Drilling
  5. Even when you are robbed and they are caught, trying to get them to court is a nightmare when they are asked to take part in a video ID parade and are allowed to change their clothes, change their hair and remove or alter facial piercings. Even when you see the gang who were with the person who actually mugged you in the same video "ID parade" laughing into the video making you feel worse than you already do. Being mugged is not a nice experience but the truth is that these people have rights too and even with some great police officers out there catching the baddies there is still no guarantee that they will have to pay for the crime as there always seems to be a way for them to get away with it. Helen, I hope your husband is doing OK and feels safe going out, and glad that he has not come to any physical harm.
  6. Moose (loose, aboot this hoose)
  7. Totally agree with Jeremy. And wondering how I can sneak into DaveR's suitcase to get back to Penang. I love it there. :)
  8. I agree with yeknomyeknom that the beef rendang in Mangosteen is lacking in punch but if you ask them to make it authentic they will. They just cater for westerners tastes as lots of people complain if it is too spicy. Silly if you ask me. Why go to a Malaysian restaurant and complain about it being too spicy? ;)
  9. I remember enjoying the music in Aneto Cafe (but cannot remember what they played) Was old and upbeat and made for a great atmosphere.
  10. Salsaboy that just made me laugh so much!! Thanks.
  11. Conspiracy
  12. I would have agreed with you Sue until last year when I adopted a rescue cat and she has the longest legs in the world. She is pretty much like the cat in that photo!! Amazingly long legs.
  13. And this also carries on the cat theme and made me giggle. http://chirkup.me/a/10-hilarious-comparisons-of-men-and-cats-in-the-similar-poses.html?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=InterestingThings&utm_campaign=IT227#.UoXfVhovX8E :)
  14. What I hate is when I see a "celeb" who I admire and I really do want to speak to them but I forget what their name is in real life!! Apart from the usual Richard Ayoade spottings or David Haye driving his wife's car, I think my favourite so far was when I saw Ray Stevenson who played the Ukranian Mafia boss Isaak Sirco on Dexter grabbing a quick coffee in Cafe Nero. Would love to have chatted to him but it doesn't feel right saying - hey you're one of my fave baddies from Dexter. :(
  15. Dulwich College has never been busy when I've used it in the mornings. Not sure what evenings and weekends are like, but one thing is that you can only use it in the morning on a Tue and Fri 0615-0800. AJ
  16. Marmora Road is in the Peckham Rye Ward. You can check on the Met Website http://maps.met.police.uk/access.php?area=00BE&sort=rate&order=a AJ
  17. Poor tree down in Peckham Rye Park this morning near the little bridge between the Oval and the Japanese Garden. Got to say that there was a right mess in the park early today but the council workers were out in force clearing it up and making it safe for all. Paths were being cleared very quickly. :)
