We won't object here in Catford if you want to join us on our turf to see it carried down Rushey Green. For us it'll bring back memories of last August, although this time people will be running away from the Catford Gyratory wearing trainers, rather than carrying armloads of them.

It was due to a vehicle ramming a police car and the police then being assaulted and the suspect then being on the run. If you follow the police helicopter twitter account @mpsinthesky they do post about most of their late night missions.

If you search "RAF escort" on Twitter it seems they weren't airliners being escorted but other military planes.
