Sally, you make a good point and I have thought that is probably the case. Same issue with litter,spitting, pissing in the street etc. Might have to move to Singapore to escape these filthy, selfish morons.

To the porky, balding 40-50 year old with three dogs (one on lead) - the last two mornings I've taken photos of your dogs shitting right in front of you in areas where children play and people like to picnic. On neither occasion did you bother to pick the mess up and dispose of it in one of the many suitable bins so I'm going to report you. I had my kitchen door open all evening and as I went to shut it, about 10.20pm, I saw a large rat run out! As far as I know the only way for them to get in is the garden door, I am just concerned that there might be a nest in the garden. Have people had experiences of rats getting in their homes? I won't consider poison just yet as we have a dog (she went straight to the spot in the garden the rat scampered to but unfortunately didn't find it!), however this is the first time in the 5 years of living on Keston Road that I have seen a rat in my flat! I think I would rather boil then experience that again!

I know what you mean. All down my street there are all these filthy, noisy, killer cars expelling lethal toxins, disturbing people's sleep and sometimes crippling, maiming and killing young and old alike. Can the council trim these here cars back?

The pavement on Gowlett Road next to the Fired Up pottery is always full of dumped crap. Can local businesses (ie those on East Dulwich Road) not be warned about what is basically fly-tipping? There has been an old toilet sitting there for at least three months. On such a potentially lovely street local residents and businesses need to be forced to act with more respect.

Someone should organise a serious campaign to get these dirty pondlife fined. The people of one town in Scotland have taken to spraying all street dog shit bright pink to highlight the issue.

After reading all this self- satisfied, borderline delusional propaganda why would you want to move here?! It's nicer than ahem South Norwood and Penge but that's not saying much. It's actually pretty dull and suburban but if you want to base your quality of life on an array of pleasant but hideously overpriced croissants it's a paradise.

If live music is only for young uns how come ace places like the Union Chapel etc are so frequently packed with all ages? Tend to agree that it's just too staid round here - Lordshit Lane is like a mini Sutton on Fri/ Sat nights.

This mess of a property has been a disgrace for some time. Now that the gate/ fence has been torn off open access to the back garden surely poses a security threat to neighbouring properties. Southwark website seems to offer no particular form for reporting this so what can be done?
