recommendation for good painter/decorator - Richard Bond
melbourne groover replied to Florien's topic in Reviews
Richard did some work for us last year and we have recently used Richard again. As per the post above, I cannot recommend Richard highly enough. The whole process is so smooth, he does a lovely job, when he says he will, for the (very reasonable) price he says, nothing is ever too much trouble, his communication is great and he is a really nice man! If only it was always this easy! -

Another glowing recommendation for Richard, he totally saved the day for us! He has been brilliant, incredibly helpful, nothing is too much trouble. He is super reliable and well priced for a good job. We will definitely be using him again. -

Yup, I would also recommend The Spin Doctor! -
What are make up bag essentials?

I forgot the clarins concealer, but definitely recommend. That's what I use, it lasts forever (In real terms about a year, not sure if that is good or not but you only need a tiny bit, even with dark child induced circles....) and doesn't go cakey! -
Best presents for 7 yo boy and 4 yo girl?

Playmobile for the 4 year old. They do fantastic sets that the 7 yr old will play with as well. If you get the boats etc the larger bits make great bath toys also (for variety). Although you may well be swimming in the teeny tiny bits already.... ;-) -

Charlotte Tilbury's stuff is brilliant and really straight forward. I also really like Benefit's The big easy foundation. It gives a lovely finish, nicer even than the BB Cream. -
Yup me too, but if you check what angle you want before doing anything else it will avoid finding you don't like the other angle either... 😉

Before you make a decision either way lay something (grey paper/fabric??) across in the line you think you would like and see if it looks better. A small investment to see which you prefer and will clarify it for you. If you are able to look at both options it should clarify it for you... Good luck.

aggressive kids in Dulwich park today

Nothing to add except sympathy as had a similar experience at Goose Green playground a year or so ago. It really felt shocking as they were so young. ETA I did report it to 101 at the time also -
Hmm sorry, I only know about slightly smaller packages, try courier point or parcel 2 go, or else shiply might work? (Shiply marries you up couriers going in your direction and they submit bids, although sometimes they are very high, but if you wait sometimes it comes down massively)

Shipping what to where? (House full or one package I mean ;-))

We have had a Roman blind in a previous house. Don't think they last as long but wasn't a major issue. Just have to scrub it regularly. ours was made out of heavy duty shower curtain stuff as it was over the bath/shower. We have gone for the frosting and then film over top as it wasn't quite opaque enough with just the frosting....
