Hej midivydale, It's a great way for your OH to learn Svenska too. He can learn as your baby learns and by the time your LO is fluent hopefully so will he. I have found this to be true in my case .Although i have learnt lots of odd words that one wouldn't really use in everyday situations such as snutte filten - excuse the spelling! I myself grew up in an italian speaking household.It's an amazing thing to find yourself at 10 years old being able to speak and understand fully another language without ever having studied it. Har det bra!

Hi , Melford rd has a powercut. Uk power networks say they have had several hundred calls. Who else is affected?

Has anyone noticed the phenomenal amount of planes that are flying over ED since the start of the Olympics? We get one every minute over our house and they fly really low and all seem to be Heathrow bound. It's like living in Hounslow round here at the mo. Does anyone know why and how long the flight path will remain so?

Yesterday Melford Rd just along from the Barcelona restaurant in LL was blocked for around 45 mins by the Police and an ambulance and all traffic made to reverse back down Melford Rd to Underhill Road. Does anyone know what happened?
