I can't recommend Lindi Lu enough! She is really great, I go to a class on Wednesday during the day but she also does one I think on Thursday evenings. If you search for her on here there's lots of recommendations. She's a lovely friendly lady and I always leave feeling positive and happy. It's at her house, in a lovely light room so not as clinical as a studio. I've tried different places in the area but hers is just lovely. Hope this helps!

Philly I'm def up for a meet too. I'm due in July also, so would just be nice to meet mums...don't mind if they're due a month earlier or later!! The meet in April sounds good, thanks for organising Jen! x

Ah ladies, I have to work now on the 19th so am not going to make the next meet :( sad times. Will hopefully make the next one though, and up for any July meets anyone wants to have too. x

We had a meet a few weeks ago and think the plan was to try and get together once a month, maybe splitting into months as there were quite a few of us. Jenny has set up a facebook group as you've probably seen. Look forward to meeting you at some stage! H

Yes I don't mind having a separate July meet although there's only a month in it so I quite liked the big old meet up too! But up for either meet so count me in!

Ah lovely news!! Great to hear everyone having great scans and can't believe so many twins that's incredible....not surprised it took you a few weeks to get used to it..think I'd be in total shock. Roll on 19th, think we're gonna have a fun evening and with all these twins hope we all fit in ok! x

Thanks Ginster!! 7 sounds great time. Yes we have had a similar thing with blood tests...I have some weird antibody that no one recognises so had to have more blood and tests etc. My midwife told me that at most hospitals it wouldn't have even been picked up as it's not one of the major antibodies. Def think it's good they're so thorough but blimey it's not without it's worries! Would love to get into some pilates/yoga too...thanks for the heads up! Thanks sillywoman (sorry that sounds rude!) for the info, great to hear what you can offer. I think we've decided to go with the Ariadna class purely as it's so close to us, over less time, our midwife was really positive about it and we just like the sound of it, but I know lots of ladies on here have mentioned they're opting for NCT. Different strokes for different folks I guess..definitely need all the help I can get so thanks for the information!

Hi Ellianna! V exciting and I reckon the collection of badges and bumps will be easy to spot a mile off...thanks for the heads up Ginster. I wasn't going to get one but maybe I should be sporting one with pride! ps had our second scan yesterday and little thing was so much bigger...could even see the heart chambers pumping away, absolutely incredible what they can see, just can't believe it. Much more relieved, and reckon may start to think about what to buy etc when it arrives. My friends all seem most excited about changing bag shopping with me...not quite as excited about that, but got some maternity clothes today as had to wear my jogging bottoms to the hosp last night and felt like a complete slob!!! It's a slippery slope ladies!

Snap..much earlier than you but I simply feel fat in the evenings, although mornings still look the same. I'm so starving all the time it's prob all the food just sitting there by the end of the day waiting to digest! Have always been the same weight so quite an odd feeling that clothes I've been wearing for years are a little tight...

Ha...I was wondering how we would recognise each other..not sure I'll have a bump by then but if anyone does have a big bump that will give it away! Think I'm a good month behind most of you! Astrid...yes I have a second scan today because baby was too little a few weeks ago to get all the right measurements but yours sounds like it's your proper 20 week scan. Not sure why I was booked in so early (was only 11 and 1 when I had first scan done) but I guess we get to see him/her again which will be nice. I couldn't stop laughing last time (odd reaction??!) so going to try and bottle the giggles as best I can today.

Hello all! Sorry I've been away last week on a belated honeymoon in Cornwall...we picked a great time, lovely weather haha! 19th at EDT works for me too so will put in diary. Glad everyone's scan went well...mine did too although was 3 days earlier than thought so going back this week for another look as little thing was a bit too little. Moved from 29th July EDD to 1st August. Re the NCT we have decided to go with the local option and Ariadna, it seems a little more relaxed and the Mag is so close to us and it's a bit cheaper! So if any of you plump for that option, we shall see you there! It will be lovely to meet you all out of classes anyway. Hope you're all keeping warm in the snow!

Glad everyone's scans went well! Can't wait to have mine on Fri...if all is well it will massively ease my mind! Still unsure re NCT but instinct is saying to do it as we know nothing so think we're gonna take the plunge and sign up. I figure that the knowledge can only help and they are v local I think. Had a look at prams...cannot believe how many there are, it is absolutely insane! I thought shoe shopping was tricky but this is crazy! Gonna wait a bit I think. Blimey lots of new things to think about!

Hello...had my first booking apt today which has made everything quite exciting! I just wondered if anyone had any advice re NCT courses? The midwife recommended them but also mentioned a lady called Ariadna who does classes but I know nothing about either as this is my first, so any advice would be great. Ideally we would like to meet new people to stay in touch with as none of our friends have babies yet and also get some advice on what's to come! Have first scan on Friday, can't wait! Looking forward to hopefully getting to know some new mums in the area! Hope everyone is feeling well x

Me too! I'm expecting my first at the end of July, it is a bizarre feeling isn't it! Will be nice to meet some first time mums in the area.

Hi! Yes I can help! One of the little buildings will be a potting shed for garden things and the other will be a toilet you're right. It is a provate block though so will only be used by the residents in the flats there, it's not going to be a public toilet don't worry! Also the chances of any of the residents using it is slim as there are toilets inside the flats which begs the question why bother, but think it was just for ease if it was a lovely hot day and residents were having a bbq they could use the toilet there rather than go back inside flat. Hope thats cleared it up..they certainly wont be smelly as they will be maintained and also the chances of it being finished any time soon are slim!
