Just used Aria to sort faulty shower and towel radiator. Arrived as promised, very clear to explain the issues, costs associated and how to sort it. All completed and working perfectly.

Which pharmacy can give antibiotics without prescription
garnwba replied to Angelina's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip

Hello After a plumber to help fix a relatively new shower that now only produces lukewarm water whilst rest of the house has no issues. Any local recommendations gratefully received

paid £7k for mine as part of a loft conversion. Prob a bit cheaper as it made the rest of the job easier for them rather than reusing the old tiles etc

Recommendation for Paul @ Scenic Double Glazing Just had windows done, could not be happier with quality of work and how professional and great the team were. Not a cheap exercise having windows done feel we have a great deal for the price paid. Contact details [email protected]

Garden project just finished and we couldn't be happier Turned a very overgrown mature dark garden, with dodgy patio making it totally unsuitable and dull for children into this....(attached) Saied and the team worked for 5 weeks, everyday they were polite, helpful and great to have them around. Nice feeling (and all too rare) spending money with trades people and being delighted with the results. Happy to act as a ref point for anyone considering Dulwich eco gardening

Hi If you're planning on having any garden work done then i highly recommend Saied and his team. They are in the latter stages of completely transforming our overgrown wilderness into a cool large lawn family garden. Work has involved removing both landscaping and building work (moving patio steps). Team are very polite, clean up and pleasure to have around. His mobile number is 07538760671. Happy to act as a reference / real life example of his work.

ha yes, i am a councillor sat in a nice new glass fronted building, wearing a grey suit and comfortable shoes doing not very much (no offence James etc)... The reason for starting this post was two fold: a) To try and wind a few people up (you know who you are) b) To give an insight (early days i agree) into what life is like in a CPZ area... and so far it's ok. Anyway all the best James B... errghh sorry i mean Garnwba

"teacher... teacher..." garnwba is talking about SE5.... dear oh dear mikeb *sigh* I think you missed the point - this is about the failed attempt to bring in a CPZ in SE22.

firstmate - indeed part of my post was to stoke the fire - childish i know... BUT.... i did think it appropriate as a supporter of CPZ i should share that i did do something about it (moved) and for me and my family it works better. loz - i used to live on Melbourne Grove, please excuse if me if i don't tell you my new address, PIN Number etc GM99 - bizarre post - try lambeth not southwark gsirett - Ah good to hear from you Mscrawthew - Actually getting it was (surprisingly) painless - 20 mins down at the center to register and from now on it is 100% online via an "App"... Modern technology is wonderful

Not wanting to stoke the fire but..... Having sold up and moved out (1 month ago) of SE22 non CPZ hell zone and now living less than 1 mile away in postcode SE5 that is CPZ (between 10-2pm Mon - Fri ONLY). I have to say that although i am ?145 worse off, i can now park outside my house every single day (imagine such a thing), I have no commuter traffic clogging the roads (and yet i live near a station), workmen etc plan their trips to avoid the CPZ times (thus making it even easier to nail down when they will arrive), there is a lovely community spirit AND all the local shops still seem to be open and survive...

last night was actually the Indian new year which follows Diwali - bit like the ?500,000 worth of firewors the major sets off each year at our New year post 10.30pm....... or is that different minder / ratty?

benmorg, how does double yellow lines help reduce speeding traffic? Surely the traffic jams slow traffic? What Melborne Grove definately doesn't need is to make it easier for cars to drive down it! Junction of Melbourne and EDG should have mini roundabout Melbourne Grove should be made one way and Derwent one way in the opposite direction - thus solving all problems

Is Travel during the Olympics Going to be a Nightmare?
garnwba replied to TransportGuy's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
According to the offical "olympic travel planner", the recommended route for East Dulwich to Charing Cross is: Bus to Denmark hill, train to elephant and castle, tube to charing cross - Journey time 1.07 So if all the tourists are using that load of rubbish as guidance then us locals should be fine! -
what kind of weirdo writes a note and sticks it on a car....??? dear oh dear some people really need to get a life or get locked up in a padded cell. Pity them for having such an empty existence and don't lose an ounce of sleep over the ramblings of a nutter ** please oh please let the person who wrote it be on this forum***
