Im 30, a woman, no children (yet) and have a career so not quite 'in my 20s' anymore and to be honest with you I dont quite see the problem if we were overrun with mummies and babies (not that we are), Im outta ED at 7.30 and dont get back til 7.30pm so I dont even see these families you speak of because I can assure there arent loads of mums and babies in the pubs after dark and to be honest even if they were it would affect me living in ED, this is the craziest thread Ive seen on here in a long time.. How odd.. Long live ED and all of its beautiful inhabitants.. Azul - dude you always seem to make me laugh with your posts!!

Morning all, Had a fantastic night last night, was just what we needed to keep our spirits high.. I thought the food was really good, even Jaws' radioactive madras, the service was great esp once we as the guests got with the programme and followed the 'system' and the company was the best of all.. Had such a great laugh and really enjoyed ourselves.. will definitely date permitting be coming to the next one xxx

what Sean said, the food was fantastic as was the atmosphere, a great little place at the back to have a party, we really enjoyed ourselves.. We will be back..

Sitting on a number 12 bus on sat afternoon trying to get back to the holy land that is East Dulwich..

I love to cook, I find it very relaxing and enjoyable.. Nothing better on a sunday than pottering and cooking up a storm for peeps you love.. My best friend on the other hand cannot cook other than heating up so we are working on a few things and I show her how to do it, honestly though she now just wants to come to my house so she doesnt have to.. different strokes and all that...

Sorry we didnt make it on Friday we were at the Rye til gone midnight and then it was time to retire.. Will hopefully be at the next one.. x

I used sainsburys for a long time and eventually got so jacked off with them we changed and did the shopping ourselves which we found was much much better value.. Now we have gotten rid of the car we are back to online shopping but use Ocado and they are great..

Coming up to the ticket barriers at any given station and the person in front of me only then decides to faff around in his / her pocket / wallet for their ticket which they then have to feed through the machine.. Did they not have the preceeding travel time to get their ticket or oyster out?? I am sure it doesnt bug anyone else really but it bugs the hell out of me...

Im am well in to Jamaica Inn at the moment, reading it for book club, didnt think I would like it but Im loving it!

Ive come on to this thread late so dont have anything to add that hasnt already been said.. I work in a legal dept (not a lawyer) and Ive seen stuff like this and full stop they cant do it and they always end in compromise agreements in your favour but get a lawyer or else they will stiff you on your compensation.. Many congrats and I hope you get it sorted.

I would really love to come to the next one and I know I say that every month but I really do!! Will keep checking the thread and see when you decide on a date xx

Hi CW1 I agree with Sean, come to the drinks.. I was a newbie just a few months back and Ive been along to the drinks, pub crawl, book club etc and I have met some great peeps because of it.. Welcome to ED! :))
