Why can I never get a doctors appointment?
Strawbs replied to MadWorld74's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I have to say I have had a pretty good time with them to be honest, Ive only been I think 3 times and 2 of those times I was offered an emergency appt that day - 1 of which i was at first refused as there were 'none left' but when I pushed and told them I was asthmatic and needed to see a GP and I would not accept being seen they fit me in that day around 4.30 and today was my 3rd appt which i went for a flu shot, I called up on Tuesday and was seen by Thursday.. When I arrived at 10.15 it wasnt all that full, lots of people seemed to be seeing the nurses like me rather than the GPs.. -

Traveling in a fried-out combie On a hippie trail, head full of zombie I met a strange lady, she made me nervous She took me in and gave me breakfast And she said, "Do you come from a land down under? Where women glow and men plunder? Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? You better run, you better take cover." Buying bread from a man in Brussels He was six foot four and full of muscles I said, "Do you speak-a my language?" He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich And he said, "I come from a land down under Where beer does flow and men chunder Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? You better run, you better take cover." Lying in a den in Bombay With a slack jaw, and not much to say I said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me Because I come from the land of plenty?" And he said, "Oh! Do you come from a land down under? (oh yeah yeah) Where women glow and men plunder? Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? You better run, you better take cover." -

Once we have gone somewhere that month, when the next month is put up then that particular pub just doesnt go in to the poll so we only choose from what is left.. Maybe it then gets refreshed i.e. all the pubs go back in say every 6 months..
-
if we are after suggestions then my two pence worth is the rye.. I organise a separate meet up there once a month and they give us the back section with heaters etc and are great at catering for large numbers!! You never know they may even decorate for us given our numbers!! Otherwise Georgia Im happy just to go wherever you tell me to! x

I think you've answered your own question and possibly ED just isnt the place for you so good luck and go forth and find the right place to live, hopefully its just not near Barry Road!! -

the credit crunch / recession - now that we only have one income coming in that is starting to p*ss me off.. People with luggage when commuting, I know I has to be done but its the inconsiderate ones that always seem to be in your way, let their bag drag 2 miles behind them and then have a go at you when you accidently know their bag when trying to get around them..
