  1. oh and also you could try putting it on a spoon and hiding it with some pureed fruit, it will only work once as they will wise up to you but at least that is one dose for now. x
  2. Is it the taste of that particular antibiotice that she detests do you think? my son is the same and I kept going back to the gp and they would prescribe me a different one until we found the one that he would swallow. You could try taking her in for another appt or talking to the duty doctor on the phone and explaining? Good luck as I know how awful it is when they wont take it but at that age it is very hard to force them. x
  3. For me she had reserved two of the blue scooters and a jojo suit for 2-3 years. I had also asked what stages the car seats were but after a few responses my communication with her dried up. My latest message to her is still unread yet I can see she logged on roughly 4 hours after I sent it. Highly doubt all of her items are now gone given she wouldn't entertain the notion of selling outside of the stall she had reserved yet doesn't turn up to sell and miraculously all the items are now sold? I won't be attending another one of their sales as now I won't know if what people are advertising to sell is actually genuine and I definitely won't be dragging my 2y old out in the cold again. As always the minority ruins it for the majority. If the organisers did know about it I think they have shot themselves in the foot on this one.
  4. Plus there was no spare stall at the sale for someone who just didn't turn up on the day, they were all full.
  5. Yes completely agree. I also went down solely for this and even messaged when I was there. I didn't find anything else worthwhile there so don't think I'll be be going again. She may be genuine and have gotten busy or had an emergency but still no reply to my message so not convinced.
  6. Carly does mine too and my partner's and son's cuts too! She is great.
  7. Sorry, sounds fun but I am in wales that weekend. I'll keep my eye out for the next one x
  8. How much per hour would you normally pay someone to come and do this? My second is due in march and it might not be a bad idea!
  9. I've asked for perfume ( shortly starting a 2nd mat leave so won't be prioritising ?100 bottles of smelly stuff), boots, a smaller second slow cooker and some boots vouchers so I can get some proper face cream and makeup. Any of those things would do me honestly. X
  10. hi, there is a facebook group that has been set up for us all on here (not sure how to get on to it though but I will go on to there and ask). There is a dinner at the flying pig on the 21st. x
  11. I did xmas presents and birthday presents for my son's key worker - xmas presents have been an assortment of scarves / beauty packs etc and bday presents are a box of chocolates from my son with a card from him. The thank you gift to his ex keyworker for having him for a year - I went a bit more lavish on but otherwise I do try to keep it fairly reasonable. We now have a new key worker who is a man so I am finding I am a bit more stumped on ideas as I find females much easier to buy for but I am thinking maybe a superdry scarf or something like that.
  12. i just recently went to kiddicare at croydon and it was excellent, loads and loads of prams plus lots of space to give them a real push around. x
  13. Yuuna - I think you have made your point! We on this thread are all intelligent enough to make a sensible decision so why don't you just let us get on with it as I am not sure what else there is left for you to add here. Thanks!
  14. From what I have read the benefits are meant to be things like - increase milk supply, help balance hormones hence therefore stave off anxiety and or pnd, give increased energy - things like that. I became an extremely anxious person and had very little milk after the birth of my son so I was hoping it would help with things like this. Undiscovered - that is really interesting, I left the cord attached for a few mins after my son was born and plan to do it again this time, I wonder if that is true hence then taking the capsule option away (I would always choose to leave the cord attached longer than have it taken sooner to encapsulate). x
  15. Not sure on that one hon, I know it was the same when I was using it for my first pregnancy so three years ago if that helps x
  16. thanks for the rec, I have sent her an email. xx
  17. I have worn mine since 12w and find it beneficial. Sometimes it gets me a seat but mostly for me it is about trying to minimise being pushed around and squashed. It is difficult as a lot of people are reading or on their phones so don't lift their head to notice but it can't hurt to wear it I figure! X
  18. Oh and meant to say you can always then just reset and sell it on ebay. I paid ?80 with sticks on amazon and just sold it for ?63 (with some sticks) on ebay. x
  19. Hi, I used it both times (currently pregnant with my second) and I would say it is definitely worth the investment. You can get them off amazon cheaper than the high street (60 vs 100) or you can get one on ebay that has been reset. I literally just sold mine a couple of weeks back that I used for three months. You also need the right box of sticks to use with it, again cheaper on amazon. If you want to use it for this cycle you need to get it by the time you are day 5 and set it then, it wont ask you to pee straight away (usually day 9 on your first cycle and then it adjusts as per your cycle which it tracks) so you dont have to worry about missing your FMU today. If you have a prime membership on amazon you can get it delivered tomorrow, if you are desperate and you dont have one I do so I can order for you if you need me to. If you need any other info let me know. xx
  20. Yes she does mine plus the whole family's haircuts too now x
  21. I do really think it is worth it. I have been having them done for over a year now and now I am prgnant again I can't and I am back to dealing with the frizz. It doesn't make it poker straight but it makes it so much easier to handle. Good luck!
  22. I use Carly for all of us as a family and she is brilliant x
  23. I have just been reading up on this very thing! Did anyone PM you about it? thanks,x
