Hi all Bit of an odd one, but does anyone know of a charity or shelter that will accept clothing items and accessories that need washing or cleaning before use? I was storing items ready to sell or donate once sorted and it turns out the space had damp. So now I just want to give everything away to someone who can use, sell or gift it but I dont have time to clean it all up before we move. Any ideas??

As the owner of the (now re-banded) escapees, I would like to publicly profess our unsurmoutable gratitude to the residents of East Dulwich for their kindness and the continued efforts that helped us put our little family back together - four days after the initial security breach! I don't think anything that potentially brings a little convenience to people's lives can be a wholly bad thing, and while I recognise the argument that it may mean more noise for the residents, I suspect the volume of anticipated added 'traffic' to the store is probably being somewhat exaggerated...

Hey East Dulwich My boyfriend and I just found out that we're expecting a baby. :) This is not a planned pregnancy so we're a little shell-shocked, but obviously very excited. I haven't even had a proper doctor's appointment yet as had to jet off for a business trip the same morning(!), but must be 2-4 weeks pregnant from the dates. Obviously this is super early and all sorts of things can happen, but fingers crossed everything goes to plan and I would really like to start making friends in the area as this is completely new to both of us. I'm sure this will come naturally through ante natal classes in any case, but if anyone else is in a similar position and would like a buddy to share the pregnancy experience with, or already has a baby and would like to extend their friendship group, please feel free to drop me a message.
