  1. I'd be interested in both Jane. Exercising once a week ain't gonna shift nothing!
  2. Hello Ladies, Nice to see those at the Gardens today. We had a chat about trying to do some exercise together. After a bit of research it would appear there are enough exercises you can do with baby in a sling [and lying on a blanket for a quick stomach exercise] for us to set up a little circuit session in the park. Does anyone fancy this? I need to point out I am in no way qualified to instruct anyone in the ways of physical fitness [so injuries would be your own liability] but I reckon we could have a laugh trying them. The more people looking like idiots in the park the less we look like idiots right? :) Any thoughts one when? We could do it on a Tuesday on the Rye before the Gardens meet up? Or 10am on a Friday at Lucas Gardens in Camberwell and then go for tea and crumpets at the Crooked Well? Jayne
  3. Jo, I'm sorry you had to do that. Totally agree with all paying separately. Ashley and I left first, I had paid for tea in advance and she paid for a decaf latte on the way out and I have to say they seemed confused about what was going on with the bill?!? Ashley is not on the forum but I would guess it was her drink. I'll sort you out next week. Nice to see everyone though. Jayne
  4. Hello ladies, I went to Tippee Toes - Music and Massage today, and while I'm not really the kind of person to hang out singing nursery rhymes in front of others my 8 week old son Amos loved it and was totally entertained for the 40 minutes. I mentioned in a chat with another Spring babies mum, that Southwark Council has loads of stuff going on so I'm going to post the 'Let's go guides' for Peckham, Nunhead, Camberwell and ED. http://www.southwark.gov.uk/downloads/download/2409/lets_go_guide_fun_for_under_fives Hope you might find something fun to go to and look forward to another cup of tea at the Gardens. Jayne [+ Amos]
  5. Hello Ladies, May I be allowed to join in the fun? My little boy Amos was born Feb 25th. It was a Spring like day, in fact I apparently missed three beautiful days while stuck at King's. Jayne
