I've eaten at Aqua shard and although it was pricey the views and atmosphere was good. Enjoy!

Sadly the messy play group in rockbourne youth club didn't start back up after the summer holidays. It was a fantastic group, haven't found anything like it elsewhere!

Stupid question about curtains...
Blueskies replied to snowboarder's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I think you would be ok with this. I have had john lewis curtains made to measure before and in my opinion the 2.5 widths they do is a bit excessive especially if it is a blackout lining - I think you would get away with a smidgen under double width. Good luck. -
I have seen a few girls recently going to grey coats school going in via herne hill to Victoria - it's about a 15 min walk or 5 min on high frequency bus (507) from Victoria. And have seen a few going in from Peckham rye - Victoria too. Herne hill route much easier. Looks doable but would need a lot of stamina I think especially in first couple of years. Good luck x

I have worked on large infrastructure projects. The main courses on project management that I've come across are the prince 2 qualification and also courses run by the association of project management- I've done the APM ones so can only really comment on those. There are three different levels for the APM qualifications. First is an introductory course which is done over 1-2 days an a short multiple choice exam. Then the APMP course which is a five day intensive tuition course plus written three hr exam at the end, you would need a bit of projects experience for the latter course I think but not sure is compulsory - doesn't have to be work, could be e.g. Managing house refurb relevant too. Finally a apm practitioners exam which you definitely need a good lot of projects experience to take. Good luck! -

two questions - weaning and bottle feeding
Blueskies replied to stacker285's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Like everyone else, ignore the hv. You might find another one in the practice gives different advice. My son was off the chart - fully breastfed- and began solids just before 6 months (he was 23 pounds then). Our hv didn't tell us to wean early on account of his size. As I understand just because they're big doesn't mean digestive system is more mature / ready for solids Good luck -
We have a wriggly older baby and our bedrooms aren't heated at night so we have the 3.5 tog sleeping bag from jojos. In the 2.5 I found his hands were getting icy cold and he was waking which I put down to getting too cold when wriggling out of blankets. The jojos one was the most reasonable price wise that I found.

I woke at 04.50 this morning and although very sleepy am fairly sure I heard the keys in the lock jingling as if someone were trying to push them out of the lock from outside. We are behind wood vale. Needless to say I will be removing keys from lock tonight and placing them away from door. -
I did manage get an appointment with the firm in forest hill (but didn't do it in the end as not quite ready) but I did make the appointment back in October, I called them.

Aqua shard Restaurant on 32nd floor of the shard has a bar. Views are amazing. I don't believe you have to book but worth checking.

Hi kattykit I use my own pump so I'm not sure if they do hire them, would suggest giving them a call - number at the top of the thread- they're usually away from the phone as its a busy ward but they do respond to messages within a day or so. Good luck x

Thanks dildals! Lovely to hear from you and glad the donor milk helped your baby :) It definitely helps motivate me to express and donate when you hear about the difference it's made. Etta I quite agree, it is easier than you think to express once you get into a routine. Do give the ladies at kings a ring if you're interested. X
