  1. There is no scar after COVID vaccine as it is given intra musclularly. BCG vaccine was given under the skin and was meant to leave a scar.
  2. You are in the right. You say the family causing the problem are renting. There will almost certainly be a clause to ensure they do not generate noise of the sort that would disturb neighbours, so I would certainly agree with talking to the landlord and asking the s/he intervene.
  3. In fact, two weeks after the first jab you have good protection. No vaccine gives 100% protection - but they have seen off most of the diseases that people used to die from.. Don't delay

  5. Hear hear -well for the great way it has been set up which I totally agree with. I am not into nationalistic comparisons however, and we should really be hanging our heads for most of what has happened in the UK during the pandemic.
  6. No! They will obviously tell you when you have it. I must say, I didn't ask on the phone when I got the appt.
  7. They give you an appointment (mine was for 4 days later) and they also give you an appointment for 12 weeks after that for the booster.
  8. Yes. I got through. You need your NHS number, an SE postcode and to be over 70. But it takes a lot of perseverance as the lines are constantly busy.
  9. As I understand it there is a dedicated line for people in the SE London area who are over 70. The number is (Number removed by request from the NHS - Admin) and you will need your NHS number to hand - if you are lucky enough to get through
  10. Hi If no one turns up for her I would love to give her a new home!
  11. Great time to criticize hospitals, where people are working, at risk to themselves, to save the rest of us.
  12. From what I saw in the first lockdown, Bic Basher, people will have enough toilet rolls to last them till Kingdom come.
  13. So you have a non-urgent appointment that you want to bring forward, are having difficulty with this and are slagging Kings off. Maybe think about what they are dealing with at the moment and the pressure all parts of the hospital are under and get off your self centered rant.
  14. Neither your photo nor your website open
  15. Sound cancelling headphones, earpods/airpods are incredibly effective.
  16. It will be interesting to know how long the result takes to come through.
  17. It depends whether you like it smooth or coarse
  18. How useful are visors? It seems to me that stuff(including COVID) will come out from under to get to other people. and get in, under, to get to wearer.
  19. When was that? They were good a couple of years ago.
  20. Are bubbles still in existence?
  21. Blah blah....is it worth it?
  22. GP's are being asked not to do blood pressure readings if at all possible but to encourage people to do their own. Both because of the need for people to come into the surgery and the problem of cleaning the cuff
  23. Hear Hear. And I always find them very friendly and helpful as well
  24. Interesting. 50,000 people dying didn't persuade you it was a very serious thing - but some of your friends having it and feeling really bad, does.
  25. This one wasn't so lucky
