Apparently a lot of babies are born at night- mine all were, so parking turned out to be ok- the earliest was 9pm, and the car park was almost empty. It's also cheaper at night, not sure from what time, but I'm sure it was some kind of one off fee for the night rather than per hour. But you'd have to check!

They are shutting the one o'clock club sometimes because of staff shortages- they had a timetable up inside the other day, and if i remember right(!), it was only a few mondays in the next copuple of months. Not sure about time changes though.

HeidiHi, We had exactly the same problem- my baby was not happy being put in the insert sideways as they tell you to do. I ended up sending the insert back, and getting money back. We use the ergo now he's older and it is, indeed fantastic. Having said that I think it is OK to put babe in the 'spread squat' postition like lorraine did- I saw someone doing it the other day and the babe was tiny but looked happy. If you look on the ergo website it says somewhere that it's fine to use the infant insert in this way, and so carry them chest to chest from birth. Have a look- it was had to find but i'm sure they said this somewhere on the site!

They're just back to just afternoons now I'm afraid. Mornings were just a summer holiday thing.

looks like my children will be enjoying a much more varied diet next week- thank you! Love the meatballs - Helen GV- they never fail to be eaten up here. Just recently I've been making them with approx half beef mince and half pork sausagemeat (from butcher)- this seems to make them extra nice! one really quick meal we do is thinly sliced chicken breast mixed in with some honey and soy sauce, then grilled- takes about 1-2 minutes each side, works well with rice. very simple but goes down well. Can anyone suggest some child friendly recipies with yellow split peas or chick peas?
