  1. What does everyone expect- LL PO is very busy with the middle classes sending all kinds of tat over the world to their middle class pals, and it is they who clog up the PO. Moaning about the queues etc is just another nail in the coffin for LL branch, and then another thread can be started to complain the PO has gone. Common sense would dictate that unless absolutely necessary do not use the PO at any lunchtimes/Monday mornings/Friday afternoons/Saturdays and then you will probably find the wait not too onerous for your busy schedule. I would much rather a PO where it is now than elsewhere.

  12. . . . Forumites wetting themselves over the imminent opening of yet another eaterie/drinkerie in East Dulwich before they moan within a month or so about the noise/late hours/refuse/crime etc that the new place attracts and brings.

The human cargo explode with stinky farts anyway regardless of crashes! It is a stressful and skilled job full of responsibility-tanker drivers, not farting.

Maybe you should try driving a tanker lorry full of a highly dangerous substance and consider the effects of stress and the responsibility the drivers have as well as all of the health & safety considerations that go with the job before pontificating. Don't you like people earning more money than you?
  17. Not being able to resist engaging in tit4tat email pingpong

  21. Dirty bastards that fart on public transport Parents taking kids on public transport during rush hour - walk, and you and your kid won't be so fat, and you will free up space for fare paying hard workers. Stinking unwashed people on public transport Bus drivers wearing hoods - isn't this against the Highway Code
  22. The new East Dulwich residents that cannot wait for 1 tiny sun ray before they flock in their hoards to the outside seating areas of pubs in their pathetic and uniform Sunglasses (Deidre Barlow big this year), not short shorts (men), women showing lots of flesh (some nice). Summer is not here. Wait a while before you show off your summer wear. Still its funny when they all freze at 6pm! Its the same with winter wear also. Clonetastic!
