I don't imagine that the current building would be at all suitable for a primary school.
  2. Barbour - robust wax jackets that deal well with mud. Loved by farmers (and trendies). North Face - high quality lightweight outdoor gear. Loved by mountaineers (and film crews). Both make great stuff. Worth the premium, in my opinion.

Nothing directly north that crosses the Thames though. That's the main problem. I can see the merits of the OKR proposal, but the Camberwell/Walworth route also needs better links. One option would be to reopen Camberwell and Walworth overground stations. Clearly such a move would have both political (NR and TfL) and technical problems to overcome.
  5. If humps save lives I couldn't give two hoots about damage to the road, my own car or anyone else's.
  6. Yes I think you have it right.
  7. If they were feeling evil they could have pointed them up the path between College Rd and the Dulwich Wood House.
  8. Nice design, but not sure why one would run out to Coldharbour when one can head up to Sydenham Hill/Dulwich woods or Honor Oak Park.
  9. I've always thought that the car wash should be considered far more of a problem than deliveries in that area. A terrible spot for it.

  13. Chinos and tan slip-ons? Who in their right mind would want to dress like an American tourist? There's a difference between dressing your age and dressing badly. I'm not quite ready for elasticated pants just yet, thanks. People live until their 80s these days. The idea that chinos are the pants of choice for the last 50 of those years is hideous!

The site in question has been used by large food retailers for decades without the sky falling in.
  21. More tiresome stereotypes. Just younger people with families moving in. Suburbs go through these cycles.

Really not the best place for such a facility
  23. No great loss if true. A dump. Inside72, on the other hand, was great.
