  1. Since I am moving to ED (again) I figure its time to restart this thread for a few more questions I have: What is the benefit (perceived or otherwise) of 'aged beef'? I see ads for 21 day aged beef and it strikes me as... unhealthy. Someone is in a full-on window punching, screaming rage on public transport. Mock or show fear? I ask because in San Diego those people were generally mocked off trolley, bus, etc. but I dont see that as much here. Iain Duncan Smith -- whats his deal?
  2. Ill try this, Im not afraid to make a complete ass of myself Wales 12 Ireland 17 England 23 Scotland 19 Italy 15 France 25

Meh, I have a prescription for straight amphetamine i.e. speed and its not all that. Makes you hot, if you dont have something to focus on youll end up cleaning your house for 9 hours. If Khat is like that, I'd pass.

I always say when it comes to money there is family and there is business, there is no such thing as friends.
  5. As an addendum to my original post, the snow beast has now befouled my back doorstep. WTF man, isnt it enough that it wants to eat me, now it has to insult me too? El Pibe, if parallel trails of poo have appeared in your garden as well Im going to laugh. Long and hard.
  6. Wait a minute... why does El Pibe get the drunken unicyclist while I get the savage beast clawing at my door??
  7. Smartass! That made me laugh.
  8. Additional file format for Nette. :D
  9. Snowmageddon 2013 has brought proof of a beast coming in the night to claw at the cat flap, presumably to get at me and my delicious jugular. I submit to you Exhibit A (see attached). All pictures can be enlarged to see the horrific detail. Trackers, you tell me: what IS that thing?
  10. I'll come on the 7th, if everyone can stomach having to see my face yet again.
  11. Im definitely not up to speed on the technical terms. I subjected Michael P. to a grueling lunch in which I grilled him on all aspects of the game, so I suspect thats the end of that information outlet. hee!
  12. *nudges her American Spirit tobacco under the sofa*
  13. Gods, Id like to know too! I think originally a game was on and I couldnt stop laughing. Compared to American football, it looked like a continuous series of hail-mary passes which I found hilarious. Once I saw a throw-in where a player is lifted, and I couldnt get the image of ice dancing out of my mind, I was irrevocably hooked. Hence my search for explanations that satisfy only when accompanied by jazz hands. Honestly though, I really do like it.
  14. Maybe I have the wrong name... Im refering to the one who played for Leicester. Im not disappointed that hes playing for Japan, I guess I was hoping for some mystical, exciting reason for playing there rather than "money". Im continually defeated by my own epectations. :)
  15. Hmmm interesting. I admit Im a bit disappointed. Somehow I had hoped the draw would be grander than money and arthritis.
  16. Im goiong to jump into this thread and risk derision, as I know next to nothing about rugby, but Ive been watching a lot of it lately so I have plenty of questions. I saw an earlier post about Alesana Tullagi moving to Japan. While I understand rugby is big in the South Pacific, Japan isnt exactly the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of congregations of burly men. Whats the draw?
  17. Bah! Lack of forgiveness creates emotional baggage. My personal preference is one small carry-on per person.
  18. Happy New Year! Here's to the new year being filled with joy, forgiveness and love. Best wishes everyone!

He can debate without being insulting and be witty without being cruel. All-around charming.
  20. Can anyone even look at that picture without the Lumberjack Song playing in their head?

  22. I think in the U.S. we call that camel 'fro.
  23. That was very cute. I've sent the link to several of my friends as a cheers from London. Thanks for sharing!
