A bit of advice pls... We rent our property out with a managing agent and they organised for a drain company to visit as the tenants noticed a strange smell. The company came out and charged a call out fee of ?120 but admitted they could not locate the issue and left. A second company was called who came out and rectified the problem. My question is, is it standard to make a call out charge and not actually fix anything? Thanks all!
Would anyone be willing to tell me what facets to their insurance they have? For example, buildings and contents, legal cover, loss of rent etc. I'm not too sure what we should be going for!
I wonder if anyone can tell me what they pay for window cleaning, inside and out? We have a 5 bed terraced house and have been paying ?70 for the last few years but I recently mentioned this to a friend who was horrified at the cost. Is this price standard?
