  1. great snow work all. We went to horniman gardens too for the sledging. we had no sledge but the best ones were: a tray a plastic bag that used to have logs in and best of all..........the rain cover off the buggy! worked brilliantly. more fun tomorrow I hope

  3. the secret history by Donna Tartt The Poisonwood bible by Barbara Kingsolver The Road by Cormac Macarthy
  4. i just finished the Almost Moon by Alice Sebold. A crock. I should have known. The lovely bones was only about 25% good. and this was raging drivel from start to finish. but i have sort of a rule that once you've started.................you have to finish!

I agree with you RosieH about the score. That got very annoying. Also the convict guy. double annoying. but the 11 year old was good. it was kind of crappy but I kind of enjoyed it. It was a bit more exciting than midsomer murders which is the usual Sunday thing isnt it?

    Great Gigs

I saw Leonard Cohen in Bournemouth last night. It was fantastic. what a voice, what a songwriter, what a band. And yes he did Hallelujah. and he must be 70 if he's a day. Legendary.
  17. I had a big crush on him for a while. He is great in CSI got a bit of a clint eastwood thing going on i think
  18. I agree gig girl. in shag or die tin of beans, Roger Moore or death, it's the tin of beans for me every time.
  19. ah cmon now Brendan. I agree it wasnt the best but....... International conglomerate of villains conducting secret meeting whilst watching Tosca- That was quite fanciful freaky looking bodyguard wearing weird black neck brace after fall- nice touch. and am I still the only one who liked 'villain eating fruit menacingly?' and how about 'I can't find the stationary' for a chat up line. these were all good bits!

    Pramzillas

I agree with AnnaJ and of course the godlike *Bob* But as someone else once said on a really similiar thread- why not tell them to their faces that they are being rude? Are they carrying knives or something? Are those tooled up beeatches terrorising the streets of ED again?

    Pramzillas

O Caron. Are you actually Caron Keating? didnt she spell it like that? or perhaps Caron trolling? Barack O'Prama. The black irish pramzilla. Nary a bit of consideration about him.
  22. I agree with giggirl. Eye candy indeed. But what about the cardi/shirt combo when he went to meet his friend at the villa? Cmon this is important. I didnt think it was Bond enough.
  23. What I liked best was the villain doing his 'Acting with fruit' really hilarious. in the last bit. showing his true lack of consideration for the big generallissimo by eating his apple with disdain, then picking his teeth. Really the best bit in the film. other bond villains get cats or bald heads or funny names but this one was acting with fruit. also liked the other fruit moment which was when the bowl of very red cherries went crashing to the floor mid chase upstairs. nice. only bit i wasnt sure about was his cardi and shirt combo when he went to visit his crinkly-handsome friend in his villa. Nice shirt, great cardi, but together? Not very bond I dont think. O and the opening credits with the naked ladies and the sand. close to the bone or what! actually close to the nipple would be more accurate. I loved it though. perfect multiplex hangover action.
  24. loving the dirty dancing annaj Here's one the kids can enjoy too: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=YevYBsShxNs
