  1. Another happy customer. Installed a new dishwasher (gave advice about which to get as well). The intregrated door now fits for the first time ever! Would recommend.
  2. You're well insulated there by other roads from the problem. It was like that here before the yellows. You don't need a total cpz just a restricted time like 12-2pm as other areas do. Me and a few others round here would happily pay a tenner a month to park nearby my own front door. A friend on Shenley had to park on Grove Park the other day!
  3. I live on Crofton Road and the situation during the day is now terrible. Before it wasn't too bad but since the double yellows were put in it took away all the spare capacity. Shenley is now impossible to park on at virtually any time. In the morning the last few spaces disappear with people whose cars I don't recognise and they stay all day. This makes venturing out in your car during the day a lottery as to how far away you have to park on your return. I feel we going to have to accept a Cpz at some point soon, as much so I'm not keen to pay! Bins are now appearing to 'reserve' spaces leading to tensions between neighbours. There is increased traffic on the roads as people drive around looking for spaces and this morning I saw someone park and unload a bike and cycle off! We are a park and ride area now!
  4. I've got done by these guys, was a bit shocked at the prices but thought I was doing some good (he said he was homeless). I checked out the address on the label - it doesn't exist and is very similar to those listed above. My mate got talking to one of these people on his doorstep, giving him a story about being out of work/homeless; then he took out an iPhone! Business must be booming See attached picture - avoid this type of stuff!
  5. Googling 'Bellenden Road' brought up this journalistic gem (check out the picture and caption): MailOnline story Now I live near Bellenden Road, and I appreciate that although the area is a little rough around the edges, I would not say that gangs are 'fact of life'! Lazy journo just picking a Peckham photo at random perhaps or maybe I just pop down for a pint at the Victoria, a visit to Paul's bikes or coffee at Anderson's at gang-free times?? P.S. Not a Mail reader! Disgusted, Peckham Rye ;-)
