  1. just found out some more info on the place East Dulwich Deli founder Tony Zoccola to launch juice bar and greengrocer concept in London: Tony Zoccola, the founder of East Dulwich Deli and a founding partner in the Great British restaurant in Mayfair, is to launch a juice bar and greengrocer concept in London. Zoccola is opening Potager in Forest Hill Road, East Dulwich, in October. He has taken a ten-year lease on an 800 sq ft site and is spending about ?100,000 converting the former DIY store.
  2. An empty shop, looks to be a fruit and veg shop called The Potager, on Forest Hill Road (where DIY store was). just wondering. the last time I went by a week or so ago, it was still a gutted shop with a work bench in! missing the Christmas orders and opening next year would be a shame (for them, mainly)! anyone know if / when its opening?!
  3. No spoiler (or more spoilers) here I just wanted to say, a true star features in this 2 minute film. The method acting sees them mould majestically into the urban reality which we are presented with. The mood, the emotions, all conveyed by a simple glance and a mere rise of an eye brow, says so much. We are left wondering many things, hoping for a world without such conflict and despair, or are we desiring it? Like and share! http://www.virginmediashorts.co.uk/film/4787/stay#.UeUCSz773WE
  4. I think its all good that the EDF is all encompassing, the area is not a small remote village (despite what people may think / hope) but has neighbouring areas with plenty of cross over themes, shared interests, places to eat, drink and shop etc. Its just a wider community!
  5. actually i have just clicked through a few recent posts and the forum has been invaded by self promoting businesses! I get it now.
  6. Why do people not use the Nunhead forum? Its not very active at all. I see others use the ED forum when in fact they're in Nunhead, I have recently moved from ED to Nunhead and a bit confused!
  7. Excellent, I'll try nunhead i think.north cross road will be pricey.cromer nkot practical! great response, thanks
  8. thought i'd ask the forum, where's best to buy crab? By 'best', ultimately i mean 'cheapest' but i dont want to get one that hasnt seen the sea in months... Peckham? Brixton market? I have never bought any before.
  9. No thanks, no need. Keep it local & independent. M&S found at every rail station and near offices across the land, why would people want one on their local high steet, do people not crave variation!? Peoples Supermarket idea is great.
