  1. Also very jealous. We went on our honeymoon and haven't been since. We stayed at Lily Beach which was great, and all inclusive (but amazing - not like going all inclusive elsewhere). There were people with kids there, that were very happy, but was quite small so no kids club (that I can remember - it was pre-kids). Diving school was amazing (our main consideration at the time - we went every day). and the reef on the island was amazing too (you could snorkel). Spa was lovely, food was off the clock, staff were great. We went BA who flew direct (you obviously then took the sea plane, but while you wait you are in the resorts own lounge which is great). So so jealous, tis amazing.
  2. My brilliant friend went to AJ Farmer and bought a gift bag and about 6 little toys. We took it in our hand luggage and did the big reveal just before take off. Then hid this for the holiday and did the same on the way home. Really worked. We didn't have a flight for as long as you, but if I did it would be Peppa downloads on the IPad once we were I up I think! Or educational games? There lots on there (if you have one?)
  3. Our swim school has stopped til September and we are struggling to find a local pool that does anything other than swim lessons on a Saturday am (and all seem to carry on in the holidays) Pms are out as we have a monster sleep in the afternoons, and Sundays are out usually. Ideally I would like warm as have a 4 month old, so hydro pool would be ideal. Any suggestions?? Thanks!
  4. Thank you - do anyone know anywhere that opens before that? If not will pop up at 11am
  5. Anyone know of a pharmacy which opens early on a Sunday? It's not an emergency but want to get there sooner rather than later - little one with horrible bum after a lot of pops overnight bless her - thanks!
  6. Just to update they did accept by bottles, but wanted me to pass on to other forum readers that they have plenty of clothes at the moment, and won't need anymore til the end August. They did reiterate that they could never have too many toys and books. I spoke to Nancy the nurse who was lovely.
  7. Hi I'm currently with DMC CP but am considering changing to The Gardens as have heard good things about it. Any thoughts would be appreciated. We have a 2 year old and a 4 month old, and both husband and I work, if that impacts anyone's thoughts! Cheers!
  8. Great idea thank you, will give them a bell.
  9. Hi I have a bag of various bottles I used with my daughter. She never took any (hence having loads) and it seems a waste to simply put them in recycling. Does anyone know if charities or similar accept them? Not sure what the correct protocol is! Thanks
  10. Can I ask an additional question? Are there people currently at DUCKS who are working parents? If so do you mind me asking what they do after school (believe after school club ends at 430pm I could be wrong?) thanks
  11. We've used Nivea 50+ Kids Pure & Sensitive today. 4* UVA and good so far. Thanks BB100! In my search I've learnt a lot....! 1 Green People's UVA is around 3*. They apparently can't currently get higher naturally. Their highest SPF is 25 so UVA is above the EU minimum but not by much (and on a lower SPF) 2 SPF blocks a percentage of UVB in the equation 1-1/SPF. So factor 15 blocks 1-1/15=93% of UVB rays 3 UPF in clothes works the same as SPF but applies to all UV rays. Eg a UPF of 50 blocks 1-1/50 or 98% of UVA and UVB. That helped my understanding of a few things so thought I'd share it in case it helped others. The UVA star system is utterly confusing (or maybe I've had too many babies!)
  12. Advice and experience needed. We have a PUP and therefore specialist insurance. Wondered if others in this position have done any tree/shrub planting, and what they learnt / did they notify their insurers. And if certain trees/shrubs are preferable etc. Any thoughts appreciated - thanks in advance.
  13. Interesting. Might give that a go and hope her skin can deal with it. Seems with suntan lotions you are between a rock (protection) and a hard place (young sensitive skin)
  14. Just boycotting a bit. Been told I should worry about the star rating for UVA not just the SPF. I've always used Green People 25 on my girl, but now noticed this has no star rating. And I don't think Ultrasun has either. That's not to say they don't protect, I was just wondering if anyone out there knows more about star ratings?
  15. I have inherited a P&T E3 with no instructions. Wondered when I am able to move to the younger one sitting up and the doubles kit below? Also is the heavier child on the bottom? Ta
  16. Sure I've seen these before but searches not leading to anything. LO trying to knaw through my beco so thought it might be a good idea - any suggestions? Thanks
  17. Thanks! Rocca is great, we most weekends. The staff are amazing - best in SE London with kids. Blackbird is a great shout! Never knew it was open that late. We often go up to Dulwich library but no tea options there - right that's my next venture - thanks. Keep em coming though - no such thing as too many options
  18. Exactly! Everywhere shuts at 4pm, and I would actually rather stay in for lunch (as its nap straight after) as at midday I still have a grasp on my sanity (not a firm one mind you!). By 330pm we just need to get out - its a long haul til bed/Daddy returns. There must be somewhere out there open til 5pm willing to put up with us?? It's obviously not just me! :0)
  19. I have my 2 year old and 3 month old on Mondays. By this time of day I need to get out, but struggle to find somewhere for a latte for me, tea for no 1 and a comfy chair to feed no 2. Any ideas? Needs to be open til 5pm I guess and ideally walkable (in ED). I go to the Clockhouse a lot but need an alternative really!
  20. Would love to so this - whats the youngest they can do it? When are you next doing it at CITR? Thanks!
  21. I just got the same from Amazon too. Fits well on my Mac XLR, no way would LO allow full coverage. Maclaren do make their own too, but more expensive and don't think quite as compact. Jojo sells a number of different types too
  22. Rocca every time - weekly visits for us. The staff, food, price, everything - I'd live there if I could :0) Also love Dish and Spoon (wish it was open til 5pm though!)
  23. Just saw you asked about sing and sign on another thread - sorry!
