  13. Another recommendation for Steve - he fixed my washing machine over WhatsApp just watching a video of it spinning. What a legend!
  14. Another vote for Steve. He came and jet washed my patio and it looks like new. I?ve used him a few times over the years now, and I would highly recommend him. Very good communication and service. Thanks Steve.
  15. Another recommendation for John. Great window cleaner and lovely guy! He?s now my regular inside and out cleaner and also does other cleaning jobs too. Highly recommended
  16. Going to take two eldest daughters to the theatre. They are good at sitting still and can do the cinema no problem. Just wondering on thoughts on shows - I am desperate for them to see Wicked, if not Matilda. Heard a range of thoughts on them! Some say Wicked too scary, others say it's not as bad as Matilda?!? I've seen Wicked and thought it'd be fine, but not seen Matilda before. Any theatre veterans able to help?!? Thanks!!
  17. Thanks everyone for taking the time to write, so nice to hear I'm not alone!! Will persevere xx
  18. Lovely title for a Sunday morning! Any help from EDFs much appreciated. My 5yo continues to have accidents with her wees. Usually not "full ones" i.e. Just damp knickers at the end of the day. But also nighttime is a struggle (lifting but often still happens. But yesterday she had a "full" one randomly on the swings. We are trying our hardest not to get frustrated. We are mainly worried about her and impact it's having. We've been to the docs and they say it's not uncommon and will pass but I want to try and help her, as no improvement is coming (only temporary redtbite then we revert). Any advice for us to try and help her is much appreciated x
  19. I know people who diy it, but those people have more time than me!! I'm in financial services with a tax experts mother but would still be too scared... 😊 I also use nannypaye and have done for years. Highly recommend. When in doubt we call them, on so many issues. They do more than just do what you're asking. My nanny is on mat leave and they've sorted all of that, and are currently running 2 employees for me (my nanny and her mat cover), all for one annual subscription.
  20. Bread Street Kitchen on Sundays does loads of entertainment for kids, and they eat free!
  21. I've never been, but hubby v keen to take 5 and nearly 4 year old to ski in Feb half term, or end March. I'll have a 8 month old too, and are going just us 5. Does anyone have any recommendations for a resort? Maybe with a nursery so I could "give it a go" (eeek) but mainly one that'll make the kids love skiing and my holiday easy!! Thanks EDF!
  22. As the big "H" falls on (a) Monday and (b) first day back, are people still planning on doing trick or treating on the actual day or on the Sunday? Just trying to be prepared!!
  23. Thanks buggie that's really useful. I'd want it for no 3 as others had it, although no 3 got Men B unlike the others, so nothing is fair I guess!!
