Hi, I am looking for some advice please. Our 4 year old is refusing bed time pull pants (older boy pull nappies)understandably as he wants to be a big boy but is such a heavy sleeper he doesn't wake up when needing the toilet. We have the absorbant mats which we put under sheets etc but the extra washing doesn't bother me, he wakes up quite distressed that he hasn't woken up for the toilet bless him Any similar experiences or advice?? Thanks so much in advance x

Hi, Would love to hear some advice/ suggestions for help with school run! My husband and I work full time and while we can do some drop off and picks ups we are looking for help with taking our son to/from school and a bit of after care. Has anyone had a similar challenge? Are there agencies, people locally who can support with this type of work? Thanks so much in advance Emma

Hello nannies and child minders of ED, On Friday 10 July this year I shall be getting married in kent. We have a son who will be 2 years and 8 months and who will be attending the day reception and a little of the evening party. We have child minders booked to provide support during the day but we are looking for an experienced nanny or child minder to support us in days leading up to the wedding, day and eve of the wedding. We want to get the ball rolling now so our son is very familiar with who looks after him, builds a bond and rapport, trust and feel very safe and comfortable with who looks after him. Please Pm me if you feel you can support us. Best wishes Emma

We went to the House of Tippler and they were so nice. It was a Sat avo and so quiet, they were really helpful. No charge for the space and we hung decorations but it was halloween so already nicely decorated too. Great good and space for all -
Two year old bedtime from cot to bed...
Fijifish replied to Fijifish's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi all, thanks for your thoughts, ITs appreciated. It's v early days but like you echo we have a very active don who just dies not want to miss out on anything, even though he us almost asleep standing up! Unfortunately we can't do the gro bag, he loves to walk and he will try and climb even with it on. He tried to climb out of the fit with it on and could escape the got in seconds with no gro bag, hence the move! -

Family friendly hotels in Cambridge?
Fijifish replied to Bonfire2010's topic in The Family Room Discussion
http://www.laterooms.com/en/hotel-reservations/85734_cambridge-belfry-a-qhotel-cambridge.aspx The Cambridge Belfry Hotel is a hotel outside of cambridge but there is a bus which runs into the centre of town. The staff here are so helpful and very friendly. There is lots of space and we were given a large room on the ground floor with plenty of space for a cot, pram and everything else! They have a pool, no baby pool but really the best thing is the staff. -
Pub with a private room for party?
Fijifish replied to Fijifish's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Great - thanks everyone! -
Hi everyone, I'm looking for a little advice. My son will be one in a few weeks and we are looking to have a small gathering. Too many people for our home but we don;t want a huge party. We are looking for a private room or space really in a pub locally ED, Peckham, Nunhead with a nice feel and good food. The room upstairs at the clockhouse is booked and their little raised seating area too small. Any advice would be appreciated. Numbers are approx 12-20 adults and a few babes x x
