Hello Did anyone see an accident about 15 minutes ago at the junction of Goodrich and Friern Road. A black car driven by a lady ran in to the side of my car as I was coming up Friern Road- instead of pulling over she drove off without providing her insurance information. If anyone happened to see this or has her license plate details please pm me. Thanks

Hello EDF We’d like to install solar panels and just interested to hear from anyone with recommendations for an installer? If people are happy to share approx cost of what they paid / number of panels that would be very helpful too. Thanks in advance

Hi. I’d like to learn to draw or paint and my teen daughter is happy to come with me - something nice to do together. Does anyone know of an adult /teen class running in the holidays that isn’t too far from ED? Thanks

Really nice chaps, fixed our WiFi issues after terrible service from Virgin which included cutting our TV aerial! Would definitely recommend -

Another thumbs up for Colin. We’ve used him for years from doing fencing, decorating and repairs. He’s reasonable, trustworthy and a lovely chap!

We live on Friern Road, happy to help too if we can. Thanks so much. Really so lovely to know in times of difficulty we can rely on our neighbours. -
Me too. Aston came to us today to coat our leaking roof in waterproof paint. He's so nice, polite, hard working... I almost have to pinch myself that it was all real. Lovely chap, great job. Highly recommended

Hi I am considering getting an au pair starting in September. Having never had one before I'm interested in hearing about the best (or worst) agencies, people's experiences and key questions I should be asking. Advice gratefully received. Many thanks

Both our daughters go to SHS and I can honestly say it's a kind, nurturing lively school where girls are really encouraged to participate even where they might not excel at something. There is no concept of "I'm better than you" or being less important if you are not top of the class. Academics are impt but not the only important thing. The staff genuinely care and the parents are close without being closed or cliquey. It's a happy school with happy girls and happy parents and as a result has children who learn and look forward to school. Pls feel free to pm if you want to know more.

Hi there Wondered if any of you lovely parents or carers might be able to help - we are stuck with an excess of childcare vouchers we need to use before they expire and we are having difficulty finding clubs, either on the weekend or after school, that accept the vouchers. We don't need childcare as I gave up work when I had my daughters so its really more to use them for some fun learning activities. Would prefer them to be weekly rather than summer camps etc. Thanks in advance for your help...

Hi Jo Check out Obelisk (its a freelance type agency for lawyers) - I just found it. I've been on career break and mat leave for 6 years and my youngest is about to start school in September and I am considering my options. I worked at the GLS like Yak but even with 3 days a week with my husband working v long hours it didn't really work for us. Otherwise Axiom or BLP have their own freelance arm. Best of luck...
