  1. You could also join the Ramblers to find out more walks in the areas. Just go to the walk finder on the Ramblers web site, you can try a couple of walks to see if it's for you. Southbank Ramblers is for Southwark and Lambeth residents mainly.
  2. Photos - Christine and Family (Greek?) I still have your photos, one taken in 2014, others of weddings of previous generations, so I'm loath to throw them away.
  3. An envelope of family photos was found at the corner of Crawthew Grove and Spurling Rd. Call at 76 Crawthew Grove to collect them.
  4. An exhibition of original lino prints is being held at the Carnegie Library gallery, Herne Hill Rd, SE24 0AG. The work is by Judith Robertson and is on from 4th March till 28th March during library hours. Works include several local scenes - Peckham Rye at Dusk, Goose Green, Dulwich Woods in Winter, etc. Come and support your local talent!
  5. I need to change my email address, it keeps asking for a verification code that has supposedly been sent to me but my original email has failed at the moment so I can't access it!
  6. There's a very active walking group in East Dulwich, it's called the Southbank Ramblers, part of The Ramblers. We have a 4-monthly programme of walks on Sat, Sun, and often Weds, sometimes other days too. We even have 2 walks some Sats, a long one (12-15 miles) and a shorter one (5-8 miles). On the 1st Sat of the month we have a shorter walk of 5-7 miles, to encourage beginners. These are lead walks, we go by train meeting at the appropriate station, and walk at the pace of the slowest person. Often, there's a pub lunch stop! Walks I've done recently include Chistlehurst 5 miles, around Guildford 10 miles, Riddledown 5 miles, Banstead 6 miles. For more details, look on our web site. New members are always welcome!
